Alexandra Shipp and Vanessa Hudgens are buddying up on the red carpet!

Alexandra, 29, and Vanessa, 32, posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Asking For It held during the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday (June 12) in New York City.

Also in attendance included their co-stars Leslie Stratton, Lisa Yaro, and Katerina Baker along with Vanessa‘s BFF GG Magree.

After the premiere, the ladies headed over to the after party at Nearly Ninth At Arlo Midtown.

Here’s what the new movie’s about: “After small town waitress Joey (Kiersey Clemons) is sexually assaulted after a date with her old friend Mike (Casey Cott), she befriends mysterious stranger Regina (Shipp). Regina introducers her to The Cherry Bombers, an all femme gang including Beatrice (Hudgens), Lily (Stratton), Sal (Radha Mitchell), Jett (Leyna Bloom), Angie (Yaro), Fala (Casey Camp-Horinek), and Rudy (Gabourey Sidibe). All suffering from past traumas, together they fight a misogynistic society by targeting violent frat boys, a corrupt police force of human traffickers led by Sheriff Morel (David Patrick Kelly), and the dangerous alt-right group MFM (Men’s First Movement) headed by Mark Vanderhill (Ezra Miller). As Joey is drawn further into their chaotic world, Sal’s old flame, Logan County Sheriff Vernon (Luke Hemsworth), investigates MFM, leading to a thrilling showdown,” according to the Tribeca website.

FYI: Vanessa is wearing a Valentino dress and jewelry by Katkim, Grace Lee, and Ananya. Guests at the event enjoyed Caliwater, Vanessa‘s new beverage brand with Oliver Trevena, who was also in attendance.

Vanessa Hudgens and Alexandra Shipp are starring in the just released teaser for the upcoming musical tick, tick…BOOM!

The two join Andrew Garfield in the movie adaptation of the musical from the late Jonathan Larson.

Vanessa Hudgens has been teasing it all week and the full video is finally here!

The 32-year-old actress and her friends, Alexandra Shipp, GG Magree and Vince Rossi, all dressed up and did the “Jingle Bell Rock” dance from the movie Mean Girls.

The group enlisted Teen Beach Movie and So You Think You Can Dance‘s Kent Boyd to help with the choreography.

“❤️💚merry Christmas n Happy holidays ❤️💚,” Vanessa captioned the video on Instagram. “@ggmagree @alexandrashipppp @vincerossi 💖thanks to @kent_boyd for teaching us the dance💗”

“JBR Tis the season 🎄 May your Xmas be filled with love and your new year be filled with virtual kissies xx,” Alexandra wrote on her account.

The 24-year-old model and the 30-year-old actress stepped out for the Longchamp Fashion Show on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at Hudson Commons in New York City.

Elle Fanning and Justice Smith‘s new Netflix movie All the Bright Places just got a premiere date and key art!

The A Rainy Day in New York actress and the Every Day actor both star in the romantic drama, which will premiere on the streamer on February 28.

Here’s the synopsis: “Based on the internationally bestselling novel by Jennifer Niven, All The Bright Places tells the story of Violet Markey (Elle Fanning) and Theodore Finch (Justice Smith), who meet and change each other’s lives forever. As they struggle with the emotional and physical scars of their past, they come together, discovering that even the smallest places and moments can mean something. This compelling drama provides a refreshing and human take on the experience of mental illness, its impact on relationships, as well as the beauty and lasting impact of young love.”

Directed by Brett Haley, it also stars Alexandra Shipp, Kelli O’Hara, Lamar Johnson, Virginia Gardner, Felix Mallard, Sofia Hasmik, Keegan-Michael Key, and Luke Wilson.
