Gilmore Girls is heading back to it’s original network this holiday season!
The series is celebrating it’s 20 year anniversary since it first aired and to celebrate, it will be back on The CW for a special event.
The 2016, four part revival mini series, Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, that premiered on Netflix will now premiere on the show’s original network, starting November 23rd.
Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel starred in the series that premiered on October 5, 2000 on The WB. The show ran for seven seasons on the network and one year after it switched to The CW, it ended in 2007.
All four parts of the revival will air on The CW, and they will also be available to stream for free on The CW app and online for 30 days.

Is it possible that the final four words in the Gilmore Girls Netflix revival weren’t the final four words at all?
Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Serandos, reportedly told the
U.K. Press Association that more installments could follow the revival.
“We hope [to do more.] We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” he said.
There are definitely fans who want answers to what many consider a cliffhanger at the end of the revival, but it’s hard to say whether Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham and crew will want to come back for more.
Ted Sarandos cautioned that talks are in a “very preliminary” stage, and anything could happen.

The ladies of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants are proving their friendship has staying power both on screen and off.
Amber Tamblyn posted a series of Instagram photos this week featuring adorable past and present moments with her Sisterhood cast members.
The 32-year-old actress posted throwback pics with Blake Lively, 28, and Alexis Bledel, 34, along with a pic from this year’s New Year’s Eve, which she spent with America Ferrera, 31.
“#Tbt to right now. Love you sister. Happy new year,” Amber captioned the photo.
Blake also spent some face time with Amber, joking on a pic of them together that they were now “#SisterWivesOfTheTravelingPants.”
She later showed some support for America’s latest project when she posted a photo of the star on her TV screen, writing, “Whoever isn’t watching @americaferrera on Superstore right now is missin out!! #MoreSisterWives.”
Mae Whitman and Alexis Bledel have decided to adopt each other!
Earlier in the day, Mae, 27, posted a photo to Twitter that showed Lauren Graham and her two TV daughters in a bit of a feud over their TV mom!
Well, it appears as if the fake feud has ended with this new photo, captioned, “JK YALL! we decided to adopt each other; meet Rory and Amber Bravermore!!!!!”

Lauren played Alexis‘ mom on Gilmore Girls and Mae‘s mother on Parenthood, and the two had never met in person.
“AT LONG LAST WE MEET #drawyourswords #breaktheinternet” Mae captioned the photo, which featured her and Alexis looking displeased with each other.
There was a huge Gilmore Girls reunion this past weekend at the ATX Television Festival. Besides Lauren and Alexis, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, and the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino were all in attendance. JJJ is still coming down from cloud nine after the Gilmore Girls reunion this weekend at the ATX Festival in Austin, Texas.
Speaking with People, the cast sized up all of Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriends throughout the series and picked their favorite.
“None of them are good enough. I’m so sorry. None of them are good enough,” Scott Patterson, who starred as Luke Danes, shared. “Maybe one day.”
But Jared Padalecki (Dean), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and Matt Czuchry (Logan) definitely picked their faves — they were all Team Jess.
“I’m going to say Jess, but I love Dean. Mostly because I love Jared, but at the same time, in the same breath, I can’t say I don’t love Matty, because I love Matty, but Logan was a d—. I think Rory, she had some wild ones. She had a good range of romantic relationships,” Milo shared.

The two actors were joined by Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Scott Patterson (Luke), Liza Weil (Paris), Milo Ventimigilia (Jess), and Matt Czuchry (Logan).
During a panel at the festival, the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said Gilmore Girls would never have been put on television if she created it today.
“Today, you don’t sell Gilmore Girls, nobody buys it,” Amy said (via Huffington Post). “It was a time when a network wasn’t looking for a cohesive brand. Their brand was about the individual voices of the show.”
