Logan Paul is clearing up rumors that his recent argument with brother Jake was a publicity stunt.
The 22-year-old YouTube star was upset after Jake and Team 10 released a “diss track” about him.
Logan then released his own song and video, which seems to feature Jake‘s ex Alissa Violet and a secret second verse.
And basically, it got ugly on social media.
“Quickly addressing the rumors that the beef between my brother @JakePaul and I was fake or a publicity stunt (see next tweet),” Logantweeted. “NOT TRUE. We were both pissed off and acted on our feelings, roasted each other, but I took it too far, he apologized, and we realized That we’re better and happier when we function as a team. None of this was staged, it was just a very opportune chain of events #YEET.”
“I know you’ve all been wanting to know my side of the drama that’s been going down lately, so here it is,” Alissa captions the video. “Being 100% honest. It was really difficult for me to sit down and pour my heart out to you guys, so please just understand that I needed to get everything off of my chest. Please don’t take the song too seriously. We’re just 2 youtubers trying to make a difference in the world and have fun.”
She starts off telling the story about how she came to know Jake in Ohio and how she started hooking up and living with him, all the while working on her modeling career.
“I was head over heels for this kid. Legit. I would do anything for him,” Alissa says. “That’s why I signed a contract for 20 percent of my life for five years. Because I believed in him and he believed in me.”
She goes on to say that Jake would bring girls home all the time, asking her to leave the room so he could be with them. At the same time, he was allegedly still hooking up with her too.
“We were together. We weren’t dating. We weren’t official. We we’re boyfriend and girlfriend. But we were kind of together. Basically together without a title,” she explains.
“He told me he loved me one night and then a couple days later he flew out this girl from Ohio. They were hooking up in Ohio,” Alissa also says. “I think I was addicted to the pain of wanting someone so unattainable.”
Alissa admits she tried to have guys over, but Jake always said no.
“I finally treated him he way he was treating me and he didn’t like it. And he kicked me out…I never thought someone could be so malicious and evil,” she says.
About posting the 18-minute video, Alissatweeted, “I honestly was putting off making this video for so long, but I reached the point where I just feel like you guys need to know the truth. I’m very grateful of him, and what he’s done to help my career. Unfortunately we mixed together our business and personal lives, and it didn’t end well. I still care, and I’ll always support him with whatever he does. We both messed up. Now it’s time to adapt and overcome.”
Watch the video below to get Alissa‘s side to the story. Jake has not responded so far.
Jake Paul‘s new music video for “It’s Everyday Bro (Song) feat. Team 10″ has fans speculating that the person who’s still “hitting” Jake‘s phone is his ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet.
Jake made a video, which he pulled, explaining that she hurt his feelings and that he “couldn’t stand to see her face anymore.” Alissa, countered with claims that Jake was cheating on her throughout their relationship, and she live-vlogged being kicked out of the Team 10 house.
It’s no surprise, fans are immediately making connections between Jake‘s new song and the person he raps about in the beginning:
“And you know I kick them out, if they ain’t with the crew. Yeah, I’m talking about you, you beggin’ for attention talking s–t on Twitter, too. But you still hit my phone last night, it was 4:52, and I got the text to prove. And all the recordings, too… don’t make me tell the truth.”
“No hate, the pic is just better with me:),” Alissa later added. “Pick your friends wisely kids. Never know whose gonna backstab, subtweet and keep your coach purse”
Tessa didn’t respond, but she did retweet her pal Erika Costell?‘s tweet that said, “I will never understand why ppl use their influence on social media for anything other than positivity.”
Yikes. We hope these two ladies can work things out.
The two YouTube stars brought their breakup drama on social media, letting their fans in on what exactly went down between them to cause their split.
In the fight, which spans across multiple platforms, Jake and Alissa are both accusing the other of cheating on them.
“Alissa and I are having problems,” Jake began in a now-deleted video. “I’ve been asking her to move out for the longest time, and she hasn’t done it. And she technically doesn’t live here, it’s technically my house. And, like, I can’t stand to see her face anymore, she’s hurt my feelings and stuff like that.”
He added, “I’m guessing she’s going to make up a ton of stuff. [I'm] predicting it before it happens. She says she’s going to try and ruin my life.”
Alissa then claims that Jake threw all her stuff out of the house, which they share with other Team 10 stars.
“He threw all my stuff downstairs and put a lock on the door. Apparently, I don’t live in here anymore. My stuff’s, like, gone.”
OR, is this all a prank for one of their videos? You tell us!
