Aly Raisman waves to fans as she poses on the red carpet at the 2018 Peoples’ Choice Awards held at Barker Hangar on Sunday night (November 11) Santa Monica, Calif.

The 24-year-old gymnast is nominated in the Game Changer of 2018 category, and she will also take the stage as a presenter.

Earlier in the week, Aly sent a message to the gymnastics community after multiple arrests and indictments have been made the couple weeks in association with sexual assault.

“I believe this is a significant step forward that is necessary for the overall health and well-being of the sport and its athletes,” she wrote. “Change is not easy, and the unknown can be scary, but we need to do whatever it takes to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. There are so many amazing, talented, and kind-hearted people in this sport, and it’s time for them to lead us into the future!”

Kristine Froseth steps out in comfortable sneakers for the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund 15th Anniversary Event at Brooklyn Navy Yard on Monday night (November 5) in Brooklyn, New York.

The 22-year-old actress, who will be playing Alaska in Hulu’s upcoming Looking For Alaska series, got silly on the red carpet with designer Diane von Furstenberg before heading inside the event, along with gymnast and speaker Aly Raisman.

The annual event names a list of top emerging designers and one winner and two runners up are chosen from a shortlist of 10 promising designers to take home a handsome monetary prize.

This year, winner Pyer Moss will receive $400,000 and the runners up get $150,000, in addition to receiving a year of mentorship.

Aly Raisman helps make a bed at Bowery Mission in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (October 10).

The 24-year-old speaker and athlete teamed up with Leesa Sleep, and along with CEO David Wolfe, helped in donating over 100 Leesa mattresses to the shelter along with a check for $1,000 in an effort to help the homeless.

“’ve worked with @leesasleep for the past few years because I respect and admire the work they do. Leesa donates mattresses to people experiencing homelessness. It’s really important to me to align myself with brands that stand for what I believe in and strive to make the world a better place,” she wrote on Instagram about the initiative.

Aly Raisman meets up with model Gigi Hadid backstage at the Brandon Maxwell fashion show on Saturday night (September 8) at the Classic Car Club in New York City.

There were so many stars at the show, held during New York Fashion Week.

Joining Gigi on the runway were her sister Bella Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Joan Smalls, Taylor Hill, Cindy Bruna, and Kate Bock.

Some of the celebs who watched from the front row were Tiffany Haddish, Devon Windsor, and Rachel Zoe.

Aly Raisman snaps a photo with snowboarder Brenna Huckaby at Pin Aerie’s Real Talk held at Natick Mall on Saturday (August 18) in Natick, Mass.

The Olympic gold medalist athletes joined together at the event to talk about the importance of finding a strong support system in embodying and sharing the #AerieREAL message throughout everyday life.

Moderator Lauren Chan shared a couple tidbits on her Instagram story.

Aly said to “try guided meditation and also gave support [for] others even when you don’t know how. Try something like, ‘I don’t know the right thing to say, but I am here for you.’”

Brenna said to “tell yourself 3 affirmations in the morning or before a big thing. Hers: ‘I’m confident, I’m strong, I’m a force.’”

Aly Raisman and survivors of Larry Nassar‘s abuse receive the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2018 ESPYs.

The Olympic gymnast was joined on stage by 140 victims, including Jordyn Wieber, as they were given the award by Jennifer Garner at the event held at Microsoft Theater on Wednesday (July 18) in Los Angeles.

The young athletes have all shared their stories – even when they were silenced – about the horrifying sexual abuse they went through because of the disgraced USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University doctor, who has been sentenced to 175 years in prison.

They were given a standing ovation by the crowd.

“The ripple effect of our actions, or inactions, can be enormous, spanning generations,” Aly said. “Perhaps the greatest tragedy of this nightmare is that it could have been avoided. Whether you act or do nothing, you are shaping the world that we live in. Impacting others. All we needed was one adult to have the integrity to stand between us and Larry Nassar.”

“If just one adult had listened, believed, and acted, the people standing before you on this stage would have never have met him,” she continued, adding, “We may suffer alone, but we survive together.”
