The 22-year-old Honor Society actress takes on the role of Cady Heron, made famous by Lindsay Lohan in the original movie, and originated by Erika Henningsen on Broadway.
During a recent roundtable with her co-stars, Angourie revealed one of the iconic lines from the movie that she was nervous to recite in the upcoming movie musical adaptation.
Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming movie, based on the Broadway musical: “New student Cady Heron (Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs.
