Arica Himmel rocks her cool pink ombre look at the 2020 SCAD aTVfest on Saturday afternoon (February 29) in Atlanta, Ga.
The 15-year-old actress who plays a young Bow on ABC’s hit show, mixed-ish, joined her on-screen parents Tika Sumpter and Mark-Paul Gosselaar to chat about the series.
Ahead of the event, Arica opened up about Mark-Paul‘s past as a child star who grew up on screen with Saved By The Bell.
“It’s so weird seeing him on TV that young,” she admitted to ET after Mark-Paul revealed that his on-screen kids don’t care about that show.
However, for Arica it’s a bit of an inspiration: “It’s like, ‘Wow! He started out young like us!’”

Arica Himmel wears a shiny silver jumpsuit while making an appearance Build Series on Monday (November 25) in New York City.
The 14-year-old actress went on the show to chat about her show mixed-ish, and dished on what she wants to do in the industry when she gets older.
“When I get older, I definitely want to be behind the scenes, behind the camera,” she shared. “I would love to do something with Jordan Peele, or even Tim Burton.”
“Film-making itself, creating something just using a camera… I really love that,” Arica said about what behind the scenes stuff she is interested in.
“When I was younger, I would make all these movies with my cat, in the park, and edit them on Microsoft Movie Maker,” she added. “It’s been a passion of mine for a while.”

The series premiere of mixed-ish is NEXT Tuesday (September 24) at 9pm ET, followed by the season six premiere of black-ish at 9:30pm on ABC. grown-ish returns for season three in winter 2020.

Arica Himmel is opening up about the message she wants viewers to take away from her new show mixed-ish.
The actress stepped out for the show’s PaleyFest Fall TV Previews event on Saturday (September 14) at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, Calif.
She was also joined by her co-star Mykal-Michelle Harris and Ethan William Childress
During the event, Arica explained how she wants to help people with the show.
“I want people to feel like they’ve been helped one by one by the show. I want people to think wow…watching the show has steered me in the right direction, its made me feel like I’m not alone. I’m unique. I’m special,” Arica said while speaking on the panel.
