Asa Butterfield is almost unrecognizable while in costume filming scenes for his upcoming movie Ten Thousand Saints on Wednesday (February 12) in New York City.
The 16-year-old British actor was joined on set by his co-star Ethan Hawke.

“When I’m not acting, I enjoy doing what every other 16-year-old boy does, playing computer games, listening to hip-hop, drumming, hanging out with my mates and going to the park to play football,” Asa recently told i-D magazine.

Hailee Steinfeld gets a lift from co-stars Emile Hirsch and Asa Butterfield while filming in New York City on Monday afternoon (January 27).
The trio of actors star in the upcoming Ten Thousand Saints together, based on the book of the same name by Eleanor Henderson.
Set in 1980s New York City, the story follows Vermont teenager Jude (Butterfield), who moves in with his hippie dad in NYC after his best friend Teddy overdoses. There he falls in with the no drugs, no sex, no meat straight-edge hardcore punk scene of the East Village.
Hailee plays Eliza, who becomes pregnant with Teddy’s child and leans on his brother Johnny and Jude for support.
