As with many Disney movies, the music in this live-action adaptation is as central a character as any of the leads. And the introduction of three new songs — “Days in the Sun,” “How Does a Moment Last Forever,” and “Evermore” — made the payoff that much more rewarding.
It certainly didn’t hurt that Emma and her co-star Dan Stevens gave goosebump-inducing performances.

Beauty and the Beast is one of Disney’s best animated classics, and we won’t even tell you how many times we saw Emma Watson‘s live-action version this weekend.
We weren’t disappointed. Not only does the new film live up to the animated version’s magical, beautiful nature, but it far surpasses it, most notably in the character of Belle.
Belle has always been unusual for an old-school Disney princess: She loves to read, she’s brave, and she’s fiercely independent. Still, Emma‘s version is even better: she plays the character as stronger, quirkier, and with even more resolve.
Here are 8 ways Emma‘s Belle is superior to the original. Naturally, we save the best for last!

While the Disney Princesses get praised, the Disney Princes are mostly looked over…but not today!
Beauty and the Beast stars Josh Gad and Luke Evans, who star as Le Fou and Gaston in the live action film, sat down with People and debated just who really was the best Disney Prince.
While they don’t really like Prince Florian (Snow White), but do love Prince Eric (Ariel), it’s Prince Philip that leaves an impression.
The one I feel really badly for is the Sleeping Beauty prince [Prince Phillip], because he’s got to fight a dragon — a thorny forest,” Josh explains, before busting out into the “Once Upon A Dream” song that’s featured in Sleeping Beauty.
JJJ Fun Fact: Prince Philip was named after Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh — Queen Elizabeth II’s husband!
We totally didn’t notice this at the time, but Emma Watson brought a magical moment from Beauty and the Beast to life with her look at the Hollywood premiere of the new movie.
The details are all in Emma‘s hair. Make sure to look closely at the photos and you’ll see the gold pieces in the shape of birds in her hair!
In one of the magical moments of the movie that happens right before the “Beauty and the Beast” ballroom scene, Garderobe (Audra McDonald) uses her powers to make Belle the yellow gown. The look is completed when gold pieces float down from the ceiling and attach themselves to the dress and her hair.
Make sure to look for the moment when you see Beauty and the Beast in theaters!
Emma Watson is definitely one of the most in demand actresses right now and she is going to be paid really well for her work in Beauty and the Beast!
Most of the 26-year-old actress’ salary is going to be based on the box office success of the film and we’re pretty sure it’s going to be a massive hit, so she has nothing to worry about there.
Emma spent many months in rehearsal and on set for the Disney live-action remake and even had to turn down a role in La La Land due to her grueling schedule.
