JJJ teared up just from reading the first line of the lyrics and we have no doubt you all will too.
Titled “Clouds”, the song tells the story and afterthoughts of the band after Christina was murdered earlier this year after their concert together.
“In loving memory of our dear friend Christina Grimmie, who will always be in our hearts and whose legacy will live on forever,” Before You Exit writes in the notes section of the video.

Olivia Holt will be headlining this year’s Citadel Outlet’s Annual Tree Lighting Concert!
A day after kicking off her Rise of the Phoenix tour, the singer and actress will ring in the holiday season along with band Before You Exit and John Lindahl at the free concert event.
Hosted by America’s Got Talent finalist Brian Justin Crum, the event will showcase the center-wide countdown to the lighting of the 115-foot World’s Tallest Live-Cut Tree.
Sourced from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, the tree stands more than 40 feet taller than the average Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City. Near the end of its lifespan, this tree is part of an important forest manicuring process and 12 young, budding trees were planted in its place.
Citadel Outlet’s 15th Annual Tree Lighting Concert will kick off on Saturday, November 5th @ 4PM ET/PT.

The brothers — Riley, Connor, and Toby McDonough — open up about their music and fans, just months after coming off a tour with Christina Grimmie. Check it:
On writing as a band: “It’s definitely different for every band. For us, I do think we try and work in personal stories. Not every song will be about all three of us, but a lot of times we’ll all kind of relate to one story because we’ve lived through it or we have felt a similar way.”
On their future in music: “We just want to keep writing the best music possible. But we don’t have anything set in stone or planned for the future at the moment. I don’t think anybody really does. We just want to keep making best music we can and keep putting stuff out. And keep touring. We’re definitely working on music all the time, but there’s nothing announced [for a full album] as of right now.”
On their fans: “I just want to thank anybody who has come out to these shows. It’s been really amazing to see all these familiar faces again. And everyone we’ve seen online talking about the new music, it has been really cool to see them out and in person at each show.”
Before You Exit made an emotional return to The Plaza Live where their late friend and tour mate Christina Grimmie was tragically gunned down on Friday (June 10) in Orlando, Fla.
The guys’ – Riley, Connor, and Toby McDonough – merchandise manager and security team member, Anthony Najarian, took to Twitter to express his grief over the experience.
“So hard going back to the venue today to get our gear,” Anthony wrote. “We left the lights on in your green room and prayed over the area of your death. I will love you for all eternity and can’t wait to see you again and have an epic Smash battle.”
Meanwhile, the band took to Instagram to share more words about their friend.
“Last night we lost an angel, sister, and beloved friend,” BYE wrote. “Christina was such a loving, caring, beautiful person with the biggest heart. She was an absolutely incredible musician and an even better friend. We are so saddened by her passing and are completely heartbroken.”
Before You Exit has released a statement to remember the life of their friend and tourmate Christina Grimmie after her untimely death.
The band was touring the country with the 22-year-old singer when she was shot outside of their show on Friday (June 10) during a meet and greet with fans. She later died due to complications from her injuries.
“Christina was such a loving, caring, beautiful person with the biggest heart. She was an absolutely incredible musician and an even better friend. We are so saddened by her passing and are completely heartbroken,” the band said in a statement on Twitter.
“Words fail to describe how much Christina means to all of us. She was always a constant beam of light and energy into the hearts of everyone around her. Her carefree spirit and her laughter constantly lit up every room she entered and she always had this glisten in her eyes which was evident in her faith. While we know there is no sort of feeling that can replace the joy Christina brought into our lives, we know she is glistening from up in Heaven and shining down on all of us,” the statement continued.
“Please join us in keeping Christina‘s family in your prayers as we know Jesus said, ‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’ She and her talent will be missed by us all,” the band concluded.
