'The Mighty Ducks' Disney+ Series Adds Troop Zero's Bella Higginbotham As Series Regular

'The Mighty Ducks' Disney+ Series Adds Troop Zero's Bella Higginbotham As Series Regular

The Mighty Ducks cast is getting all filled in!

The new series coming to Disney+ has now added Bella Higginbotham to the cast in a series regular role, Deadline reports.

Bella will play Lauren, who is 13 years old, and is an eccentric, cosplay-loving girl who dresses in full-on Game of Thrones garb. She claims it doesn’t bother her when people make fun of her for dressing up like Khaleesi the Dragon Queen, but it clearly does.

She’s never played hockey, but joins Evan’s team because she admits she may have an inner rage that really needs an outlet. This anger at being a true outcast does fuel her, and she ends up being by far the toughest kid on the new squad, ready to rain fire down on her opponents.

It was also announced that original The Mighty Ducks star Emilio Estevez will reprise his role of Coach Bombay for the series. The cast rounds out with Swayam Bhatia, Taegen Burns, Julee Cerda, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Maxwell Simkins and De’Jon Watts.
