If you’ve been watching Beyond, you know that there’s a love triangle that is JUST getting started between Holden, Willa and Charlie.

Dilan Gwyn, who plays Willa, has definitely seen your fan theories about who belongs with Holden more, too.

Speaking to Syfy, Dilan shares that she’s “curious to see what people say. Fans of this show are really kind, and there’s a lot of positivity oozing from the internet, so to speak. It’s fun to read and kind of be like, okay, so this is what people think, or this is how people feel.”

She adds, “There’s the whole ‘Team Willa, Team Charlie’ and that whole thing … which I personally, I don’t really understand that whole thing, because for me, I feel like Charlie’s Charlie. Willa’s Willa.”

“For me, their worth isn’t measured in how much they’re compatible with Holden,” Dilan says. “I guess that’s how people watch shows nowadays, it’s how well you’re compatible with the main character — it’s the same, though, because they’re both really powerful figures.”

Holden shares a kiss with Willa in this new still from tonight’s all new Beyond.

In the episode, Holden confides in Luke about his recent struggles, leading Luke to again question why Holden is not embracing his powers to make things better.

Meanwhile, Willa is frantic when Arthur goes missing, while Jeff faces some uncomfortable questions from someone looking into Hollow Sky; and Charlie has a surprising run in, while Yellow Jacket pays a visit to an old friend.

Beyond is bringing Deaf culture back to the screen tonight and JJJ is hear for it!

After the cancellation of Switched at Birth, the lack of deaf characters was definitely noticed, and while it’s only two characters — Charlie and her sister Annabelle (Raquel McPeek Rodriguez) — on the show, we’re still happy it’s represented.

In the clip from tonight’s episode, Charlie (Eden Brolin) is arguing with her sister — in ASL — about getting their house and back.

Elsewhere in the episode, you’ll see Holden (Burkely Duffield) struggling to control his powers at work while Luke (Jonathan Whitesell) finds himself in danger of falling back into a bad habit.

And, another mysterious coma patient in Argentina named Diego awakens a changed man.

On Beyond, Luke has spent most of his life growing up in the shadow of older brother, Holden, as he was in a coma — and now, after a rocky first season behind them, things haven’t really changed.

“That’s a big topic in Season 2 between the brothers that they really butt heads on,” Burkely Duffield told TV Guide about the two’s relationship.

“Luke sees these abilities as a chance to be a hero, be someone of note, take the challenge in front of you and run with it…Holden sees them a lot more as a challenge and a burden that he has to keep a secret and that really brings harm and danger to him,” he adds.

“Holden is a lot more adamant about suppressing these abilities and just wanting to move forward as a normal person.”

Freeform’s brand new series, Beyond, is back TONIGHT!

Since it’s been a long while since the first season (seriously, it’s been a year!), JJJ thought it might be good for a re-introduction on just who is who.

The series centers on Holden Matthews a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.

Now, in season two, in Holden’s attempt to now live a normal life, he must ask himself if a normal life is what he truly wants; and what if the Realm can still wreak havoc on Holden’s life and the lives of those he loves?

We’re just one day out from the season two premiere of Beyond and JJJ is so excited!

The cast of the Freeform series — Burkely Duffield, Romy Rosemont, Michael McGrady, Jonathan Whitesell, Dilan Gwyn, Jeff Pierre and Eden Brolin — have summed up the feeling of season two into three words, and they were having so much trouble with it!

Eden described the new season as “dangerous, edgy and heartwarming”.

In season two, in Holden’s attempt to now live a normal life, he must ask himself if a normal life is what he truly wants; and what if the Realm can still wreak havoc on Holden’s life and the lives of those he loves?

Beyond is back on our TV screens next week and while we’re still preparing ourselves for more Willa and Holden, we need to double prepare for the new big bad.

Speaking earlier this year, executive producers David Eick, Adam Nussdorf and Tim Kring opened up about the new villain coming for Holden in season two.

The antagonist is named Diego and “he’s very bad news for Holden,” star Burkely Duffield said.

“We based him really on Lucifer,” David Eick shared. “He wants what is rightfully his, and so his agenda is very personally motivated. We’re trying to steer away from complex storylines and keep it very personal.”
