Bindi Irwin just announced some pretty cool news – Crikey! It’s The Irwin’s is coming back for a second season!
“We are so excited to announce that this year will bring season TWO of Crikey! It’s The Irwins with Animal Planet,” the 20-year-old conservationist shared on her Instagram.
Bindi adds, “It is such a blessing to share our journey and continue Dad’s legacy. I feel like he is walking beside us every day we film this wonderful show.”
Crikey! It’s The Irwins airs Sundays @ 8PM ET/PT on Animal Planet.

Bindi Irwin is opening up about life without her father Steve Irwin, who passed away 12 years ago after a stingray attack.
The 20-year-old animal conservationist and her little brother Robert spoke toPeople magazine in their latest issue about the ongoing struggle with heartbreak.
“I remember people coming up to me and saying, ‘I’m sorry for your loss, sweetheart. Time heals all wounds.’ But that’s just not true,” Bindi said. “It’s like losing a part of your heart, and when you’ve lost that, you never get it back.”
Bindi and Robert have been keeping their dad’s legacy very much alive with expanding their Australia Zoo, and spreading the word with their tv shows and more about their conservation efforts.
“I sure hope dad would be proud,” she continued. “We really do try every day to make him proud and follow in his footsteps. I hope that somewhere he’s out there going, ‘Yes! You did good!’”
“No matter where we go, or what we do, we’ll always come back here,” Robert added. “This is our passion. It’s a part of us and Australia Zoo will always be home.”

Speaking recently with USA Today, the Irwin family opened up about their new Animal Planet series, Crikey! It’s The Irwins!
“Together, we make a really great team,” Bindi shared. “Plus, we have moments of reflecting on all of Dad’s amazing adventures.”
She adds, “You’ll get to see Robert feeding a crocodile and then Dad doing the exact same thing. What’s wonderful is that the beat really continues, and we’re so excited for this beautiful new chapter as a little family.”

Speaking with E! later on, Bindi opened up about all the engagement rumors surrounding her and longtime love, Chandler Powell.
“There’s always a few engagement rumors swelling, but I promise you, I can clear the air, we’re not engaged yet guys,” Bindi shared. “But I swear I will let you know when it happens, really.”
“We’re really lucky, we are sharing our lives together and we’re on this amazing journey,” Bindi added about their relationship. “And I think that as human beings we always forget to enjoy the moment. And for us right now we’re enjoying doing our conservation work together and filming our brand new series, and it’s all happening and we’re just enjoying it now.”
