Birdy shows off her award in the press room at the 40 Principales Awards 2014 held at Palacio de los Deportes on Friday night (December 12) in Madrid, Spain.
The 18-year-old English singer beat out Ariana Grande, Lorde, The Vamps and Milky Chance for the Best International New Act honor.

The four hotties from The Vamps – James McVey, Connor Ball, Tristan Evans, and Brad Simpson – pose in the press room following their performance at the 40 Principales Awards on Friday (December 12) at Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid, Spain.

Birdy is all smiles after performing at The Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday evening (July 23).
The 18-year-old singer headlined the concert with support from I’m Your Vinyl.

“Things have just happened more gradually for me which has been nice, I’ve had time to find my feet,” Birdy recently shared with Highlight magazine.
She added, “It’s wonderful to be able to already do what I love and have time to develop and grow as an artist.”

Birdy shows off her new album, Fire Within, outside the Today FM studios in Dublin, Ireland on Monday afternoon (June 30).
The 18-year-old singer stopped by the studios to chat up her album, and appearing on The Fault in Our Stars album.

“Well, I read the book. Well, actually, no I didn’t. I read half it. Not that I didn’t love it, I’m still going to finish it! I went to go see the film because they were doing a screening to help me write,” she recently shared with Idolator about getting involved with TFIOS.
Birdy continued, “I really wanted to see what I’d be writing to, which was really important. Yeah, and I was just completely inspired by the story. ‘Not About Angels’ was really about how Hazel, the main character, feels like she’s like a grenade, but her realizing that if you have something so true and beautiful, it should be cherished, so, for me, that was really inspiring.”
Nat Wolff just isn’t letting Ansel Elgort go.
The 19-year-old actor jumped on his 20-year-old co-star while meeting fans outside a special screening for their new film, The Fault In Our Stars, held at the Mayfair Hotel in London on Tuesday evening (June 17).

“About to go do some interviews w @natandalex this is gonna b fun. I feel sorry for who ever is trying to interview us,” Ansel tweeted a few days earlier, sending out a fair warning to reporters. Ha!
