We loved watching Melissa Benoist and Blake Jenner together on Glee so much that this piece of news is getting us so excited. Blake just landed an exciting role as the love interest to his wife Melissa‘s character Kara on her hit CBS series Supergirl!
The 23-year-old actor will play “Adam Foster, a handsome stranger from Cat Grant’s (Calista Flockhart) past whose arrival in National City tests Kara and Cat’s relationship like never before. At the same time, Adam and Kara form a very unexpected connection,” according to TV Line.
You can catch Blake in multiple episodes of the series starting in early 2016!

Blake Jenner just landed a new movie gig!
According to Deadline, the 23-year-old Glee alum has been cast in the coming-of-age film Besties, also starring Hailee Steinfeld.
The movie “centers on Nadine Byrd (Steinfeld), whose father tragically dies when she is 7. She grows up to become a disaffected, emotionally isolated teenager, but when Nadine’s best friend begins dating her brother, she melts down. One of her teachers, as well as a fellow student and potential love interest, try to help her get through her angst.”
Blake will play her older brother, who is “a popular and handsome soccer player who is the exact opposite of Nadine.”
We can’t wait to see it!

A source tells the mag that Melissa and Blake, 22, tied the knot back in March before jetting off to Europe for their honeymoon. Another source says the wedding was “very small with their families there.”
