Eliza Taylor Says Clarke & Bellamy Need Each Other on 'The 100'

Bellarke fans, listen up!

The 100 star Eliza Taylor is opening up about Clarke’s friendship with Bellamy (Bob Morley).

“I think Bellamy has a lot thicker skin and he’s a lot more cutthroat, which she needs sometimes,” Eliza told TVGuide.com. “And Clarke has a sensitivity and a sensibility about her that Bellamy needs sometimes. With those two things combined, they really do need each other. I think that’s why people look up to them as a team.”

She added, “More and more than ever they need each other.”

The 100 airs Wednesday nights @ 9/8c on The CW.

CW Renews 'The 100' For Season Five!

CW Renews 'The 100' For Season Five!

Yes! We are so stoked about The 100 being renewed for a fifth season on the CW!

In the current fourth season, the fight to survive has torn them apart, turned them against each other, and taken the lives of their closest friends.

Despite their best efforts, all out war appeared unavoidable until a new, even more dangerous threat, one that had been quietly rising all along, exploded to the surface: ALIE, the A.I. that ended the world, offered relief from pain and eternal life in the “City of Light,” but as her ranks grew, it quickly became clear that she was building an army dedicated to controlling all sentient life on Earth.

This was no longer a battle between warring factions; it was a fight for humanity itself. Now, in the wake of the epic season three finale, a hard truth lands on the shoulders of those who remain. What’s left to fight for now? Will they go quietly into the night, or will they find hope and faith in each other, as they face their darkest chapter yet?

Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Christopher Larkin, Lindsey Morgan, Devon Bostick, and Marie Avgeropoulos all star.

Bob Morley Weighs In On Bellamy's Past Mistakes Haunting Him on 'The 100'

Bob Morley Weighs In On Bellamy's Past Mistakes Haunting Him on 'The 100'

The 100 is back tonight with another edgy episode and Bob Morley is opening up about the ep and how Bellamy is handling it all.

Speaking with Collider, Bob dished about his character’s past mistakes and how he handles them.

“It’s absolutely going to affect the way he handles situations. He’s carrying around so much guilt,” Bob shares. “Kane was trying to say to him at the end of the first episode, ‘Okay, you’ve done some bad things, but if you keep carrying that weight around it’s not going to have a positive impact on the rest of what you’re trying to achieve.’…I think he tries to take on Kane’s word as much as he can, but there’s always that underlying current of him feeling like he has become something that he despises.”

Bob adds about how Bellamy will handle it: “People have a tendency to do that to go the polar opposite of what they’ve done before if they’ve felt like they’ve done something wrong. There is definitely he definitely has the ability to go to the other extreme. Bellamy kind of rocks between the two and he doesn’t always balance and that’s where the tension is for him usually.”

In “Heavy Lies The Crown”, the burden of leading weighs heavily upon Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy when different challenges force them to determine who will live and die.

The 100 airs TONIGHT, February 8th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

'The 100' EP Talks Bellamy & Clarke's Friendship

'The 100' EP Talks Bellamy & Clarke's Friendship

What did you think of The 100‘s season four premiere?!

So much went down, but the main thing we were focused on was Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy’s (Bob Morley) friendship.

As you probably saw, she told him and others about the incoming Death Wave.

“She told Bellamy, because she tells Bellamy everything,” executive producer Jason Rothenberg told THR. “They’re allies and partners in this world and battle that’s ongoing. Then, the circumstances of the premiere present themselves.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK about Bellarke’s friendship? Do you think it’s something more?

'The 100' Season 4 Spoilers: Octavia & Bellamy Have 'Work To Do On Their Relationship'

'The 100' Season 4 Spoilers: Octavia & Bellamy Have 'Work To Do On Their Relationship'

Are you getting excited for the fourth season of The 100!?

We’re still a month away, but some new scoop just came out about Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos)’s character arc this season.

“Octavia’s story in Season 4 is amazing,” executive producer Jason Rothenberg told TVLine.com. “She’s got quite a journey ahead of her, and it gets darker before it gets lighter. She’s taking a detour into assassin land. She’ll do whatever she feels she needs to do to hide the pain from the loss of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle).”

He added, “Who is she? She’s not Skaikru. She’s not Trikru. Who is she now that Lincoln is gone, and that her brother (Bob Morley) – in her mind – is responsible for so many difficult choices? They have some work to do on their relationship. It’s too bad there aren’t any family therapists in this future.”

The 100 returns on Wednesday, February 1 @ 9PM on The CW.

How Will Clarke Handle Lexa's Death on 'The 100'? Eliza Taylor Speaks!

How Will Clarke Handle Lexa's Death on 'The 100'? Eliza Taylor Speaks!

Eliza Taylor stops to pose while stepping out for The 100 panel held during 2016 WonderCon at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Sunday (March 27) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Bob Morley, Lindsey Morgan, Devon Bostick, Christopher Larkin, and Richard Harmon, as well as creator Jason Rothenberg.

Eliza opened up about what we can expect from Clark’s reaction to Lexa’s (Alycia Debnam Carey) death.

“Clarke has always been very good at compartmentalizing, she’s always been very good at pushing forward even in the worst situations, but this one’s different, this is her love,” Eliza said (via Variety). “It’s gonna be really, really tricky for her, and I think it really changes her for good, but in true Clarke fashion, she will somehow get through it.”

'The 100' Showrunner Jason Rothenberg Talks Fate of Bellamy

'The 100' Showrunner Jason Rothenberg Talks Fate of Bellamy

First question that popped out of our mouths when we saw this week’s preview for The 100 — where’s Bellamy?

Easy, he’s not in the episode. At all.

“There will be a few episodes like that this season, where characters who have been in every episode until now will not appear,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg shared with TVLine. “That’s simply because our cast is so large now and the world is so expansive.”

He added about Bellamy’s (played by Bob Morley) story arc at the moment: “Bellamy is definitely on the road to a decision point that he will not be able to go any further down Pike’s path. The question is: How far will he go down that path before that decision point happens?”

“He definitely believes in what he’s doing. He’s torn. He’s not a fool. He understands the extreme measures being taken, and he still believes in them at the moment, and is trusting Pike. But there will come a point, we hope, where that’s no longer the case,” Jason added.

WHAT DO YOU THINK Bellamy should do?
