The actress, who starred opposite John in the Harry Potter franchise — he was Ollivander, she was Ginny Weasley — took to social media to remember the legendary actor.
We all know Bonnie Wright from the Harry Potter film franchise.
However, many still don’t know her as a director — a brilliant one at that.
“I feel like the minute I really got into my directing work, it became a personal journey,” Bonnie shares in a recent interview. “It’s something I do for myself. Of course I want it to become a career – and bigger than that. But for a long time, since I graduated, it’s been very personal.”
When chatting about the discrimination over female directors in Hollywood, Bonnie wants to ditch all gender terms before a job title.
“I want to make sure we get to the point where your gender doesn’t have to come before your job title. It shouldn’t be a ‘female director’ � it should just be a ‘director’,” Bonnie says.
She adds, “It should transcend gender, race, time and language – all those things.”

The Harry Potter star stopped by the Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Exhibit Preview at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles and tried on the hat once again.

The two Harry Potter alums made sure to take some selfies for social media for all the fans, all while supporting author J.K. Rowling at the premiere of the movie.
The ladies stepped out in costume – Victoria as Beetlejuice and Keke as the late icon Selena – on Sunday night (October 30) at Tenants of the Trees in Silver Lake, Calif.
“I remember when I first watched Selena I cried so hard that I hugged the tv. I fell in love with her music, style and her ability to be such a beacon of hope to her community. She used her voice to paint her culture all over the world, telling their stories that hadn’t been told and in being so true she touched many others and inspired so many to be proud of who they were! I AM THE PROOF. She has always been the kind of entertainer I wanted to be because she stood for something. She wasn’t trying to fit in any lane but her own and that’s why she remains. And when the lights were off she was in TX in a humble home with bae, #balance. Rest In Peace Selena, we miss you so much girl. So Much,” Keke wrote on Instagram about her costume choice.

The 25-year-old actress and director, who played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, shared words of wisdom from author J.K. Rowling on social media.
“‘We don’t need magic to transform our world we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already’ – J.K. Rowling,” she started off with the quote on Instagram.
Bonnie added, “Every child deserves the right to a family. Join us at Lumos in the #WeAreLumos Worldwide campaign. Stand up against the unfair institutionalisation of children with this limited edition tshirt.”

Rupert added about his sortment into Hufflepuff, “I feel pretty good. It wasn’t what I was expecting. But that’s really clever.”
