The Vamps Pull an Ed Sheeran; Sell Their New Albums To Fans at HMV Oxford Street

The Vamps just pulled an Ed Sheeran with their brand new album, Night & Day!

The guys — Brad Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey and Tristan Evans — took a cue from Ed for their new record and hit up HMV Oxford Street to sell their own albums!

Ed did the same thing with his most recent album, Divide, and just like Ed‘s fans came out in droves — so did The Vamps‘ fans!

Speaking with Reuters, The Vamps revealed that fans will get to hear even more new songs on the second part of the album, Day Edition.

“I think by doing this two-part album means that we’re able to release more music and our fans are able to get more music,” the guys shared. “The first half the album is a bit more sultry. And the second half, ‘Day’, is a bit more organic and uplifting.”

The Vamps Drop 'Night & Day' Album - Stream & Download Here!

The Vamps have just dropped their third studio album, Night & Day!

Brad Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey and Tristan Evans recently talked about the album and how it was inspired by heartbreak.

“At one point or another, all four of us have been heartbroken – which is sad! But songwriting is the biggest catharsis and outlet,” Brad shared. “Every person in life goes through it. At the same time, it’s you coming to terms with who you are as a person … there’s a lot to get your head around.”

Brad added about how this new album is much more mature than their previous ones: “It’s a bit more honest and telling of stories of things that have happened to us over the past couple of years.

“It was a bit of a departure from previous albums. A lot of the songs are catered to the concept of the album which is different for us.”

The Vamps Got Lost In Peru Last Summer!

The Vamps Got Lost In Peru Last Summer!

Once upon a time, The Vamps got majorly lost in Peru.

No joke, the guys — Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball, and Tristan Evans — dished all about their little adventure with Metro.

“It’s quite dangerous out there. You have to take security but one night we went out in the middle of the night and got lost in Peru,” Connor shared. “We couldn’t get home, but we didn’t want to call our management to come and get us because we would have been horrendously told off.”

He added, “I don’t even know how we got back. It was half four in the morning, we had to try and find a taxi without getting attacked.”

On top of getting lost, there was also a language barrier — because none of them speak Spanish!

“The fact that no one in the band could speak Spanish just made matters worse. I thought I could speak Spanish when I was a bit drunk,” Connor adds. “I did Spanish GSCE. I was trying to convert that but they [Peruvians where they were at] speak more Portuguese. There was definitely a language barrier because it didn’t mean anything to them.”

The Vamps are pictured below at their concert at SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday (April 29).
