This is music to our ears — Bridgit Mendler is coming back to TV in a new comedy!
The former Good Luck Charlie and Undateable actress just landed the lead role in Fox’s new pilot called Thin Ice.
The series will center on a woman who reclaims her dreams when she finds herself at the end of the earth – in Antarctica – surrounded by a group of brilliant misfits.
Bridgit will play “messy and directionless” Lou.
She used to be a receptionist at the National Science Foundation in Virginia, but she’s not giving up on her dreams so easily. She jumps at the chance to go to Antarctica for a new job that may re-ignite for passion for science.
The “Do You Miss Me At All?” singer and actress opened up with the new issue of NKD mag about her music, and new tunes in 2017, as well as her character on Nashville.
“I’m really excited for 2017. We have a lot of ideas on how to do some fresh things with the music,” Bridgit shares about her music. “I’ve actually been working on producing a song.”
She adds, “The next new song we release I will have produced myself along with my collaborator. That’s been a really empowering experience and I’m looking forward to doing that a lot more in the future.”

Bridgit Mendler has dropped a brand new video for “Do You Miss Me At All?”, off of her Nemesis EP.
In the visual, Bridgit sings through barriers — a door, windows and even the shower glass — wondering if an ex is thinking about her.
“Missing someone can be a solitary feeling. You don’t always know that the person on the other end feels the same way,” Bridgitshares about the song. “This song was my way of coping with the radio silence.”

“This whole project has been about conquering fear,” Bridgit shares in a new interview. “But I don’t think fear is something you conquer. I think it’s a nemesis.”
She adds, “I think it’s something that keeps on popping up over and over again. It’s always there, it’s always at your shoulder.”
