Joe Locke Dishes On 'Pinch Me' Broadway Debut in 'Sweeney Todd,' Talks 'Agatha' Chemistry Read with Kathryn Hahn

Joe Locke is opening up in a new interview about current and upcoming projects!

The 20-year-old actor is currently starring as Tobias in the musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on Broadway, and coming up later this year, he has the Marvel series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries and the third season of Heartstopper.

While speaking on the Just for Variety podcast with Marc Malkin, Joe dished on making his Broadway debut, his Agatha chemistry read with Kathryn Hahn that became his favorite scene in the show and more.

Stranger Things' Caleb McLaughlin Visits Lola Tung at Her Broadway Debut in 'Hadestown'

Caleb McLaughlin is one of the first people to ever get to see Lola Tung on a Broadway stage!

The 22-year-old Stranger Things actor caught a performance of the Tony-winning musical Hadestown over the weekend and witnessed one of Lola‘s first shows. She joined the cast as Eurydice on Friday, February 9.

Also starring in the show is To All the Boys star Jordan Fisher.

Following two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.

Lola is starring in the musical through March 17. Get tickets now to see her while you still can!

“I saw Hadestown in February of 2020 and immediately fell in love with the show,” Lola said. “I’d had dreams of being on Broadway since I performed in my middle school musicals, and after seeing Hadestown I instantly added it to the little list of dream shows in my mind. The storytelling is beautiful and unique, the music is unbelievably special, and the show is just so moving. I am very grateful to be joining this incredible company. What a dream and an honor it is to be making my Broadway debut in this show!”

Deadline reports that the 20-year-old Heartstopper breakout star will be taking on the role of Tobias, the role originated by Stranger ThingsGaten Matarazzo in this production.

Daniel Marconi is currently playing the role after Gaten‘s departure, and Joe will be taking over from Daniel on January 31.

Frankie Grande just celebrated the opening night performance of his production of The Rocky Horror Show and Ariana was there to show her support!

The superstar siblings posed for a cute photo backstage the Bucks County Playhouse on Friday (October 13) in New Hope, Penn.

Ariana, mom Joan Grande, and some more friends met up with Frankie backstage after the show to celebrate his performance.

“Serving opening night LEWKS 😘💋 beyond grateful for the love and support of my friends family cast and crew. What a triumph!” Frankie wrote on Instagram.

Ariana has been enjoying live theatre during her break from filming the Wicked movies. She recently took in a performance of the Broadway musical & Juliet, which uses one of her songs.

Jordan Fisher Joins 'Hadestown' Cast, Marking His Fourth Broadway Musical!

Jordan Fisher has already appeared in three Broadway musicals and now he’s returning to the stage for his fourth!

The 29-year-old former Teen Beach Movie actor has joined the cast of the Tony-winning musical Hadestown, taking over for Reeve Carney in the role of Orpheus.

Jordan has previously starred on Broadway in Sweeney Todd, Dear Evan Hansen, and Hamilton. He’ll make his debut in Hadestown on November 20.

“First, I must thank Reeve for the magic he made in ‘Orpheus,’” Jordan said in a statement. “An absolutely historic run and performance. His unrelenting heart and soul is deeply embedded in this role and in this story. I’m beyond honored and grateful for the opportunity to step in and steward such a beautifully crafted character. My wife, son and I have been jamming to the cast album for a long time. It’s been a dream to be able to join the party! Specifically in this role. This tale is one that truly must be told again and again.”

One week before the casting news was officially announced, Jordan responded to a TikTok video that leaked the story.

Ariana Grande Returns to Her Roots, Visits Broadway Musical '& Juliet'

It has been years since Ariana Grande has been on Broadway, but that’s not stopping her from enjoying all of the incredible shows!

The 30-year-old Grammy-winning singer made a rare public appearance over the weekend to attend a performance of the musical & Juliet on Sunday (September 30) at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York City.

& Juliet is a multi-generational story of self-discovery, empowerment and love, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. The musical uses songs from Max Martin‘s catalog, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more.

Ariana‘s song “Problem” is also featured in the show!

After the performance, Ariana went backstage to meet the cast, including actor Matt Raffy, who wrote the sweetest message on Instagram.
