Brooks Laich lifts Julianne Hough in the air as if she’s a weight on Saturday (August 27) on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 33-year-old hockey player shared a photo via his Instagram account of the super fun moment!
“@juleshough is definitely the prettiest weight I’ve ever lifted! Fitness is and always should be fun – use your imagination and create the active and healthy lifestyle that you want! Let’s see what you come up with!,” Brooks captioned the photo, which Julianne reposted and added, “I’m just glad you didn’t refer to me as your dumbbell.”

Later that night, Julianne and her hockey player fiance Brooks Laich had a low key date night that Julianne documented on Instagram.

Derek Hough leaps high in the air while kicking off the Move Interactive Run in Los Angeles on Saturday (July 9).
The 31-year-old pro dancer and actor was joined by younger sister Julianne, 27, and her fiance Brooks Laich.

The event was a free fitness class which started off with a workout at Pulse Fitness Studio, before jogging to the JustDance studio for a dance class.

The 27-year-old actress recently caught up with InStyle mag and opened up about her impending nuptials to hockey player Brooks Laich.
“I’m so indecisive. At first, Brooks and I had an idea of what we wanted everything to look like and then we realized it didn’t feel like us,” she shared. “We were actually supposed to get married this summer, but it came up so fast we decided to push it back a little bit and get the logistics of everything right.”
Julianne added, “And it is so much fun being engaged, we don’t really want this stage to be over yet.”
