5 Seconds of Summer Premiere New Song 'Me, Myself & I' From Upcoming Album - Listen Now!

5 Seconds of Summer have released the latest single, “Me, Myself & I,” from their upcoming fifth studio album 5SOS5!

The four-piece band – Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin – dropped the song on Wednesday (May 11) after announcing the 19-song track list for their album.

“It was very different to the last couple albums, as I’m sure you’ve heard from a few artists. So we started this album, fifth album, what are we going to do? We can’t see each other, now we can see each other. We’re going to go away somewhere and be isolated. We made a bunch of music,” Luke told Apple Music about the album.

“And then in the process at some point, we wanted to open it up to collaboration and this song came… Well, the first idea came from Jon Bellion and he sent it through and we’re like, ‘Oh, we love this.’ And we worked on it and it was kind of a different… This one was almost like a slight outlier on the album and it took… I don’t know, we just had to wrangle it and make it into the fifth album. And it’s one of my favorites on the album,” he added about “Me, Myself & I.”

5 Seconds of Summer Postpone Their Tour 'One More Time'

5 Seconds of Summer Postpone Their Tour 'One More Time'

5 Seconds of Summer has delivered some bad news for fans…

The Australian band announced that they have had to postpone their tour once again.

“To all our friends and fans in the U.S., Mexico and Canada… as the world continues to re-open more and more on a daily basis, everyone in 5SOS is continuing to feel more positive… everyday!” they wrote in a note shared to social media.

“Moving forward however, it’s still important that we act with caution and safety for all. With that in mind, we will have to postpone our upcoming tour dates one more time, to a period that we can all count on,” the guys continued. “We are in the studio as we type this, so we are also happy to be working on new music to accompany the move to 2022!”

Their “No Shame Tour” was first announced at the start of 2020, but of course was delayed due to the pandemic.

As the guys said, they have been in the studio working on new music, which by the time they tour, they very well just might have two albums worth of new music to perform live. Can’t wait!!

5 Seconds of Summer went live and chatted with fans today (March 11)!

The band – Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin – confirmed that they are in fact working on their next album.

While on Instagram live, Michael said, “It’s soooo good…it is a good album.”

Luke added that it “sounds like a step in the right direction.”

They also shared that the album is nowhere close to being finished, but we can’t wait!

If you missed it, back in December it was revealed they had new music on the way by a vocal coach, but the guys themselves hadn’t said anything.

It was also revealed that the guys have left their label, Interscope, and they have new management. They are being managed by YM&U Group’s Joel Mark and Peter Katsis.

“The key is to respect the fans and recognize they’re people like us who love music,” Joel told Billboard.

It’s been almost a year since 5SOS released their last album C A L M on March 27, 2020. Since then, Ashton also released his solo album, Superbloom.
