On a new episode of Quibi show Thanks A Million, the 20-year-old actress made an incredible $100,000 donation to Cameron‘s parents Libby and Victor
In the episode, Yara sits down with Cameron‘s parents, recalling her early childhood memories with Cameron.
“Cameron’s light extended to the many communities he was committed to serving. I remain endlessly inspired by his work and the work his family and close friends continue with the @thecameronboycefoundation . Gratitude can never go wrong❤️ thank you Libby, Victor, Maya, Karan and Sophie for the opportunity to share a little more about Cameron with the world ❤,” Yara wrote on her Instagram.
In turn, Libby and Victor gave a portion of the donation to an important in their life who also gave part of what she received to another, starting a wonderful chain of gratitude.
The two star in the late actor’s final film, which follows Cal, a teenage boy who, after a troubling incident transpires, proves to be a young man with a take-no-prisoners attitude.
Nicole and the rest of the cast premiered the movie at the 2020 Mammoth Film Festival last weekend, where Cameron‘s family were also in attendance.
The Cameron Boyce Foundation accepted the award for Runt winning the Audience Award (Feature) at the festival.

Many fans were left quite upset at The Academy for not including Cameron Boyce and Luke Perry during the “In Memoriam” segment at the 2020 Oscars.
Both actors passed away suddenly last year, and Luke was even in one of this year’s nominated films, Once Upon a Time In… Hollywood.
“The Academy receives hundreds of requests to include loved ones and industry colleagues in the Oscars In Memoriam segment,” The Academy said in a statement to E! News. “An executive committee representing every branch considers the list and makes selections for the telecast based on limited available time. All the submissions are included on Oscar.com and will remain on the site throughout the year. Luke Perry and Cameron Boyce are remembered in the Oscar.com gallery.”
Taking to her Instagram, the 23-year-old Charmed star shared a random photo of her with Cameron, Zachary Gibson and Booboo Stewart during a break from filming Descendants 3.
“scrolling through camera roll… this was such a good day,” she reminisced. “We all had time off and went to this local spot in Victoria for Thai food that the boys loved, and then walked back and sat in a park on a hill for a bit. A few girls came over and asked Cam for pics and of course he took them, and chatted with them for probably 20 minutes.”
Sarah continued, “They invited us to eat at the Waffle placed they worked at and Cam said we’d try to make it out.”
“It’s a really special thing to have memories like this,” she added. “Cameras and phones can be distracting but I’m so grateful that they have captured a lot of special moments. 💙💙💙.”
