Casey Cott tried to diss his buddy Cole Sprouse on Twitter this week, but Cole had the best comeback in response to the tweet!
Cole was on The Tonight Show this week with his new chin beard and Casey shared his thoughts on the new look.
“Why does he keep itching his awful chin beard during this interview?” Casey tweeted in response to the talk show’s tweet of the interview.
Cole responded, “That hairy chin said more words in that interview than you did in the last 4 seasons.”
Casey, also 27, is an actor and singer who plays Kevin Keller on the hit CW series. He was a recurring character in the first season and then became a series regular in season two.
The 27-year-old actor’s wig that he wore was the original wig from the Hedwig and the Angry Inch movie!
“This wig is super bad ass because this is the actual wig that John Cameron Mitchell wore in the movie Hedwig. This is his wig,” he told MTV. “So, Victoria, head of our hair department knows someone connected and got us this wig. So, while it is the most uncomfortable, it’s my favorite thing.”
He also shared about his buzz-worthy performance of “Tear Me Down”.
“I haven’t felt that much energy or excitement from a room of people since I’ve probably done a play or something. And I think K.J. and Cole and Lili and Cami and Charles and Mads, all really rallied the group to do that,” he said.
After the previous debacles of “Carrie: The Musical” and “Heathers: The Musical,” Kevin decides to revive Riverdale High’s tradition of hosting a variety show.
But when Mr. Honey (Kerr Smith) forbids him from performing a number from “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” Kevin and the gang rally against their principal — each by performing a number from “Hedwig,” turning the variety show into a full-fledged musical that reflects the students’ inner lives and struggles.
And amidst all the drama, one forbidden “showmance” begins to blossom.
Tune in to Riverdale THIS Wednesday (April 15) at 8/7c on The CW!
