The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress opened up about turning to singer Eartha Kitt for inspiration for her character Prudence.

“Eartha was one of my idols growing up and I pictured Prudence to be this obviously very strong woman who is self-made, and immediately, Eartha came to mind,” Tati shares.

The next day, co-star Chance Perdomo also stopped by Build and opened up about Ambrose’s brush with darkness in the new season.

Another round of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is on its way!

The second installment of the hit Netflix series will premiere on Friday (April 5), and you can watch the full official trailer here.

Part 2 finds Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world. Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle with between sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan, and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale. And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell. Everything is in question…relationships, identity, true intentions…when the devil’s work is at hand.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star wore an Elisabetta Franchi gown with a alphabet lettered bodice.

Tati was joined by co-star Chance Perdomo on the red carpet, along with Cloak & Dagger‘s Emma Lahana, and The Perfectionists star Sydney Park.

Influencers Alisha Marie and Remi Cruz were also seen at the event, along with Marvel Rising‘s Milana Vayntrub.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actor turns 23 years old today, and his co-star Kiernan Shipka is celebrating with a sweet tribute.

“Happy birthday @ross_lynch, you are a truly wonderful and talented soul! #brina?” she captioned the Instagram slideshow below.

“Happy birthday Lynchy-poo, you cool motherf*#%{} 🤙🏾,” their other co-star Chance Perdomo added along with his own photo.

Season one of CAOS is streaming on Netflix now, and season two will premiere on April 5.

Chance Perdomo is giving some special shout outs to the cast of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!

The 22-year-old actor, who plays Ambrose on the show, took to his Instagram for some sentimental posts following their wrap on season one.

“Lynchy-poo is one of the coolest Motherf#%+s I’ve met. Hands down. I admire the way he moves through the world – literally like water – like Bruce Lee’s philosophy. I’m always smiling around this dude & always a little bit nervous so always split a little too early. There’s a calm to him that fascinates & an unquenchable curiosity. He’s #osho cool (pun intended) & it’s a pleasure to call you a friend,” Chance wrote of co-star Ross Lynch.

He added a post about Kiernan Shipka, writing, “Won’t be able to carry @kiernanshipka around like a faux-fur scarf because this is a season wrap on @sabrinanetflix . I want it publicly known that I think you’re the s**t & you ground yourself (unless being picked up) on a daily basis in way that I admire. Now, pair that with the fact that her Chilling Adventures of Sabrina co-star Chance Perdomo almost played Jughead Jones on the show.

Kiernan and Chance were almost Bughead.

We’re not pulling your leg – it actually almost happened, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared with THR.

In another interview, Chance opened up about how Ambrose is the better role for him though.

“I love his duality,” he shared with TV Insider. “He is a very old soul in a very young man’s body. So that’s very fun to play, and interesting from an actor’s standpoint, to feel where has he been, what has he done in his life, and what’s carried his troubles forward.”

He added, “He has a very, very kind soul, but at the same time, he can be quite malicious, and he’s also quite tortured as a result. I say malicious, but not in the sense of evil; he’s malicious in the sense that certain tortured bits about his past have led him to be the man he is today. To try and get a balance between the two is the most challenging, but equally as fun to do.”
