The end of a chapter is here as Riverdale airs it’s series finale TONIGHT (August 23).
After over six years and seven seasons, the drama based on the Archie Comics is coming to an end on The CW, with it’s final episode ever.

As Riverdale ends after seven seasons on The CW, we’re taking a look back on the cast’s careers before the show!
While some of the stars of the series had their first on-screen roles on Riverdale, many of them had prior experience in the business, from other TV shows, movies and even music videos.
The cast’s first roles include spots on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Glee, RL Stine’s The Haunting Hour and even a Christmas TV movie.

Riverdale is coming to an end this week after seven seasons on The CW!
The hit drama series was greenlit by The CW in May 2016 and debuted it’s first season in January 2017.
Riverdale was first described as “a surprising and subversive take on Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Josie (Ashleigh Murray) and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small town life – the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome façade.”
Over the years, the show has gone through many changes, from re-castings to covering many different genres, to the loss of beloved actor Luke Perry.
While the viewership has been there for the show, especially once seasons dropped on Netflix, and it’s been renewed year after year since it’s release, the fans have become wary of the quality of the show and the ratings for each season vary.
With the final season coming to a close, we’re taking a look back at how audiences have felt about each season and which ones they like or didn’t like the most.

Charles Melton and Chloe Bennet cheered on Taylor Swift during her final Eras Tour performance at SOFI Stadium on Wednesday (August 9).
The 31-year-old Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress and 32-year-old Riverdale actor went public with their relationship back in May.
This marks one of their first big public outings as a couple!

At the end of this month, Riverdale will air it’s final episode ever on The CW.
The drama series is currently in the midst of it’s seventh and final season, and there’s only a few episodes left of the show.

Charles Melton, Manu Rios and Troye Sivan are among the stars in attendance at the Versace La Vacanza fashion show held on Tuesday (May 23) in Cannes, France.
The trio of guys were all in attendance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival premieres and screenings over the past week before catching the runway show.

Also stepping out at the fashion show were The Little Mermaid‘s Simone Ashley, Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin, Devon Carlson, Rina Sawayama, Jeremy O Harris, Lewis Hamilton and Manu and Troye‘s stylist Marc Forne.
Iris Law and Amelia Gray were both spotted hitting the runway during the show, displaying the new “La Vacanza” collection co-designed by Donatella Versace and Dua Lipa.
“@dualipa, we did it! You are now both Versace supermodel AND Versace superdesigner. We designed this collection with true friendship, love and joy at the heart of every piece we put on show tonight. Your passion and vision have inspired me throughout this creative journey. I love you more than you can imagine. Donatella x,” the fashion designer shared on Instagram.
“the biggest dream come true doing this alongside you!! I love you so much!! What a journey!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Dua commented.

Charles Melton wears a white tuxedo jacket while stepping out for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival premiere of his new movie May December held at Palais des Festivals on Saturday (May 20) in Cannes, France.
The 32-year-old Riverdale actor joined his co-stars Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore and Cory Michael Smith, as well as director Todd Haynes.
The next day, the cast and director stepped out for their film’s photo call and press conference at the festival.
Charles was also seen in attendance at the 2023 Kering Women in Motion Awards on Sunday (May 21), and at the Discover Red with Campari event on Saturday (May 20), where he met up with Luke Evans.
This is actually Charles‘ first film festival, and what a first it is!
In May December, per Variety, Julianne and Natalie “anchor the intense portrait of the scandalous romance of an older woman (Moore) and her young employee (Melton). Almost 20 years after the affair made headlines, the couple are preparing to send their almost-adult children off to college. At the same time, a movie star (Portman) comes to study the family for an upcoming film about their lives.”
