Eden Sher horses around with costar Charlie McDermott on the carpet at the Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences presentation of an evening with The Middle held at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre on Monday night (March 26) in North Hollywood, Calif.
The 20-year-old actress plays 14-year-old Sue on the ABC series, now in its 3rd season, opposite Patricia Heaton and Atticus Shaffer.
“People are generally pretty shocked when they see me,” Eden told the NY Post about running into fans on the streets. “They are like, ‘You are so mature and pretty.’ I just smile and say, ‘Thank you!’”
Eden added about one of the roles she hopes to tackle, “I am always getting the funny girl – the better characters, really – but I just want to sometimes be the pretty girl… I can do it. I swear!”
