Kiernan Shipka is opening up about the ending to Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The Netflix series comes to an end on New Year’s Eve (December 31) as the final chapter premieres.

Kiernan dished on the series finale and that shocking ending to the show.

“I was very surprised… then I was like, ‘Oh, there’s no more pages. I think that’s it,’” she told ET. “But it’s a dramatic ending.”

“I think it hit me emotionally quite a bit. It’s not an easy ending to just digest. There is a lot of meaning and impact behind it and how we wish to read into that. But above all else, I was completely surprised,” Kiernan said.

Gavin Leatherwood is counting down the days until the final season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comes out!

The 26-year-old actor has been sharing some behind-the-scenes photos and videos from set on Instagram, leading up to the premiere.

Gavin‘s latest photo features him shirtless and covered in blood inside the makeup trailer.

“Part 4 is so close you can almost taste it 😈,” he captioned the image.

Kiernan Shipka and Gavin Leatherwood are dishing on the series finale of their show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!

Without giving any spoilers, the actors shared their thoughts on the ending the show got.

“There were different versions of the script depending on if it was a finale or not, but the shot that we ended up going with, the second that I read that I was like, ‘Oh, that’s the end,’” Kiernan told ET. “I know we could keep going and I know we could make something out of it, but my gosh is that an ending. And I was just like, ‘Got it, that’s it.’”

“I think [fans] are going to be overwhelmed with emotions, because I was and I would think that they would think similarly,” she continued. “I think everyone will be happy with it but also a little surprised. I was surprised. It’s not a predictable ending and I really didn’t see that coming in any way, shape or form. It does wrap things up, but it certainly does not leave you fully satisfied — in a good way.”

Gavin had a much shorter response, but thinks it’s a great way to end the show.

“You know what? How kind of beautiful. What a great send off and interesting, Shakespearean kind of thing to do,” he said.

OMG! The aunties from Sabrina, The Teenage Witch are going to be on the final season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!

Netflix revealed a new teaser video from the upcoming part four, and it features Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick reprising their roles as Hilda and Zelda Spellman, respectively.

“Sabrina, is that you?” Zelda (Broderick) says in the clip. “There you are. Where were you? We were getting worried.”

“Not me, I haven’t been worried since bottomless mimosas,” Hilda (Rhea) says.

Then, a very confused Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) says, “Sorry, who are you?”

If you remember, Caroline and Beth starred in the Sabrina, The Teenage Witch series for seven seasons, from 1996-2003, with Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina. You can watch the whole series now on Hulu!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is back for the final season!

The hit Netflix series just dropped the Part Four trailer and it’s getting us so excited.

Here’s a synopsis: The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased that it’s the scariest season yet, and the trailer holds up.

“We truly saved the best…and scariest…for last. So much love for this cast, crew, writers, and fandom. Part Four finds our witches and mortals facing off against the Eldritch Terrors. And, friends, there will be monsters, sacrifices, last kisses, a satanic battle-of-the-bands, and some very, very special guest stars…before the most epic ending EVER. You are cordially invited to the End of All Things on December 31st, 2020. 🔮🖤🎢🌪⌛️🔥,” he wrote on Instagram.

So sad and heartbreaking!

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has shared a video of the house from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina being torn down.

“Prepare yourselves, Coven. This one is brutal. A lot of love and magic went into this witch-house. A lot of memories were made within its walls. A lot of late nights were spent here. With a lot of mosquitoes and a lot of frogs. And a lot of wonderful people all dreaming the same dark dream. (I always picture @kiernanshipka in her special chair, sleeping soundly, with her familiar Frankie guarding her.)” Roberto wrote on Instagram.

“Before shooting started, we spent many, many weeks looking for the Spellman house. In the end, our incredible production designer @lieselottesoper said: ‘I think we need to build it. This has to be as iconic as the Psycho house.’ And that’s what Lisa and her team made,” he continued.

“She was there today when they knocked it down. And she saved certain things, including the house’s weathervane. (And maybe the odd wooden frog or two.) We haven’t seen the last of that weathervane. As Zelda says in Part Four: ‘There is no death for witches. Only transformation.’ The story of the witches of Greendale isn’t over. We still have Part Four, waiting for you, with the Eldritch terrors. And after that… Well, come closer and I’ll tell you a secret…🔮🖤📺🔥🌑🕷👠👩‍👩‍👧🧟‍♂️👸🏼👨🏻‍💻💋”
