Malachi Barton, Phil Wright, Sophia Hammons and Christian J Simon get a picture with Goofy at the Under Wraps 2 premiere held on Saturday (September 24) at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

The Disney Channel stars stepped out for the big premiere during Halloween time at the Disneyland resort, with a surprise appearance from the character dressed as a mummy!

Also in attendance were their co-stars Rryla McIntosh, Claude Knowlton, Antonio Cayonne, TJ Storm, Melanie Brook, Adam Wylie and Jordan Conley, as well as the director of the movie, Alex Zamm.

Under Wraps 2 premieres THIS Friday (September 30) on Disney Channel, and picks up as Marshall, Gilbert and Amy are getting ready to attend Amy’s father’s Halloween-themed wedding. However, plans soon go awry when the three friends discover their mummy pal Harold and his beloved Rose may be in danger.

Sobek, an evil mummy with a 1000-year-old grudge against his best friend-turned-bitter-rival Harold, is unexpectedly awakened and out for revenge. With help from his hypnotized lacky Larry, Sobek kidnaps Rose. Amy, Gilbert, Marshall, Buzzy and Harold must use their skills once again to save her and get back in time to attend the wedding.

Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Tom Hanks join their co-stars at the premiere of their new movie Pinocchio held at Walt Disney Studios Main Theater on Wednesday evening (September 7) in Burbank, Calif.

The two play Pinocchio and Geppetto in the new live action feature, which is now streaming on Disney+.

Also in attendance at the premiere were their co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Luke Evans, as well as Tom‘s wife Rita Wilson, writer/director Robert Zemeckis, and composers Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, who wrote original songs for the new film.

The trailer for the upcoming DCOM sequel Under Wraps 2 is here!

Disney Channel shared the trailer, along with more details and a premiere date on Friday (August 12).

Malachi Barton, Christian J Simon, Sophia Hammons, Phil Wright and Melanie Brook are all returning for the new movie, along with some new additions.

“We are thrilled to kick off the Halloween season by taking the fans on another spooky adventure with even more mummies, more scares and more fun,” Lauren Kisilevsky, SVP of Original Movies, Disney Branded Television, said in a statement.

Peyton Elizabeth Lee joined Milo Manheim at the Zombies 3 premiere held at Barker Hangar on Saturday (July 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The Doogie Kamealoha, MD star supported her friend and fellow Disney star for the premiere of his new movie.

Peyton and Milo will be starring in the upcoming Disney+ movie Prom Pact together, and he will be guest starring in multiple episodes of Doogie Kamealoha, MD in season two.

Several other Disney Channel and Disney+ stars stepped out for the Zombies 3 premiere.

The Disney Channel movie Under Wraps is getting a part two!

The exciting news was unveiled on Monday (February 7) as part of Disney Branded Television’s TCA announcements.

Malachi Barton, Christian J Simon, Sophia Hammons, Phil Wright and Melanie Brook will all return for Under Wraps 2!

This sequel announcement is less uncommon for Disney Channel as most DCOM sequels are for their musical films. The last non-musical DCOM that had a sequel was Twitches. Twitches Too was released in 2007.

Disney Channel is all about Halloween TONIGHT (October 8)!

The network is celebrating the spooky season with another night of Halloween-themed content, with new themed episodes of Disney’s Magic Bake-Off, Sydney to the Max and Gabby Duran & The Unsittables.

In addition, DisneyNOW is presenting the new “Calling All the Monsters” Disney Channel Halloween collection, which features new and library Halloween-themed episodes, shorts and movies, including new series The Ghost and Molly McGee, Under Wraps, Addison’s Monster Mystery Shorts and more.

Ahead of tonight’s all new episodes of the Disney Channel shows, JJJ spoke to the young stars and got the scoop on what they look forward to on Halloween the most and what their favorite costumes have been!

A new teaser video for the upcoming Under Wraps remake has been released!

In the clip, Sophia Hammons, Malachi Barton and Christian J Simon race against the clock to get Harold the mummy (Phil Wright) back to his coffin before he turns to dust.

The upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie is a contemporary remake of the 1997 Halloween classic.
