Ryan McCartan is returning to Broadway tonight in the musical Frozen and here’s your first look at him in costume as Hans!

The 26-year-old Liv & Maddie actor has previously been on Broadway in Wicked and he’s joining Ciara Renee as Elsa and McKenzie Kurtz as Anna.

The Broadway production will be introducing some changes that were made for the North American tour. In the show’s second act, Elsa and Anna will no longer sing the “For the First Time in Forever” reprise and they’ll instead perform the new duet “I Can’t Lose You.”

Kristoff, who is currently being played by Noah J. Ricketts, will also get a reprise for his song “What Do I Know About Love?” to express his growing feelings for Anna.

Anna’s second act solo song “True Love” has been cut and the act two opening number “Hygge” is being trimmed.

Ciara is best known for her work on The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, and The Flash. She has been seen on Broadway in Pippin and Big Fish. McKenzie is making her Broadway debut!

Ciara Renee Gets Real About Portraying A Superhero of Color on 'Legends'

Ciara Renee Gets Real About Portraying A Superhero of Color on 'Legends'

Ciara Renee embraces her beautiful natural look in the September 2016 issue of NKD mag.

The 25-year-old former Legends of Tomorrow actress dished on her Broadway beginnings and the transition to television. Check it:

On her first Broadway experience: “It was super eye-opening, but I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t know how to pace myself for the endurance of doing eight shows a week and singing as high as I possibly could and everything that comes with that. I didn’t know how to do a real, big Broadway tech with all these crazy props and dressers and stuff like that.”

On perseverance: “A lot of my life has been learning trial by fire. I just get thrown into the pan and I have to figure out how to get out or not get burnt. I think that that’s good. I’ve learned a lot so quickly because I had to, and I think that’s a big reason why I’ve had so much success, because I just had to learn how to buck up and get where I was going.”

On portraying a superhero on TV: “I think as a woman of color, we are role models in a really, really important way, because there isn’t enough representation. When you do see someone like us on TV, playing a superhero no less, I think it’s very important that we show that A, these women have agency, and B, that they;re skilled in whatever they’re supposed to be doing.”

Ciara Renee Not Series Regular After 'Legends of Tomorrow' First Season Finale

Ciara Renee Not Series Regular After 'Legends of Tomorrow' First Season Finale

WARNING – SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not continue if you don’t want to know what happened on the season finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

Tonight, we said goodbye to another team member on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow — Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renee.

At the end of the episode, Hawkman and Hawkgirl completed their 4,000-year quest to kill the immortal Vandal Savage and were seen at the end of the finale flying off into the sunset. With that arc over, we won’t be seeing Hawkman and Hawkgirl in Season 2 much.

Co-creator/executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared with Deadline: “We went through the team, made a list of all the characters and started to think of stories for them. When we got to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, we had trouble coming up with stories. The bow was tied so tightly and neatly with their story in the finale, that everything we thought of felt very forced. After 4000 years, they were no longer under the specter of Vandal, and we felt they need some time off. Bringing them back to the team as soon as the the beginning of Season 2 felt premature.”

While Ciara won’t be a regular cast member, that doesn’t mean she won’t return.

Marc added that he didn’t know if Ciara or Falk Hentschel would have a presence in the next season until he and the series’ other writers get together to think about next season.
