The King has been cast in Sony’s Cinderella!
Pierce Brosnan will be playing The King in the upcoming movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Just last week, it was announced that British actor Nicholas Galitzine will be playing Prince Robert opposite Camila Cabello as Cinderella.
The cast for the film also included Billy Porter as the Fairy Godmother and Idina Menzel as the Evil Stepmother.
Production is set to start is in February, with the film set to release in February 2021.

The 25-year-old actor has won the role of Prince Robert in Sony’s upcoming adaption of the classic fairy tale, Deadline reports.
Nicholas also joins Idina Menzel as Evelyn, the evil stepmother and Billy Porter as the fairy godmother in the upcoming flick.
According to the site, Nicholas “wowed the filmmakers in many chemistry readings.”
Production is set to start is in February, with the film set to release in February 2021.
Nicholas most recently starred in Netflix’s short-lived series, Chambers.

Disney just launched the best campaign ever, in support of the upcoming Bluray release of Cinderella.
Announced over the weekend at the 2015 D23 Expo, the studios revealed the “A Million Words of Kindness” Campaign, which invites fans everywhere to pledge their commitment to be courageous and kind in the hopes of achieving “A Million Words of Kindness” in time for World Kindness Day on November 13th.
In the film, Ella is told by her mother, “Where there is kindness, there is goodness; and where there is goodness, there is magic.”

Walt Disney Pictures just announced that the newest live adaption of the classic fairy tale, starring Lily James and Richard Madden, will be out on Blu-ray, Disney Movies Anywhere and Digital HD on September 15th!
The combo pack comes with over 12 Minutes of additional scenes, plus the “Frozen Fever” short!
But that’s not all, Disney also announced that Disneynature’s Monkey Kingdom will also be out the same day!
