The Dirty Dancing number on the Dancing With The Stars grand finale was so amazing to watch!

Stars Colt Prattes and Nicole Scherzinger debuted the first dance from the special, set to “Do You Love Me?” on the show and it was amazing!

Colt stars as Johnny on the special, while Nicole, who also won DWTS back in season 10 with partner Derek Hough, plays Penny.

The Dirty Dancing TV musical movie event, also starring Abigail Breslin and Sarah Hyland, premieres TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 24th.

The actresses teamed up at the premiere of their upcoming movie Dirty Dancing during the 2017 PaleyLive LA Spring Season on Thursday (May 18) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

They were joined by their co-stars Colt Prattes, Nicole Scherzinger, Shane Harper, Beau Casper Smart, and Trevor Einhorn.

After the premiere, some of the cast headed to dinner at TAO in Los Angeles, reportedly chowing down on menu items like the Mandarin Orange Chicken, Tuna Pringles, Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, and Lo Mein.

The next day, the Dirty Dancing soundtrack dropped as well! The 17-track collection features cast members along with artists including Bea Miller, Karmin, American Authors Feat. Lindsey Stirling, Greyson Chance, Lady Antebellum, Seal, and Calum Scott.

The network just released the first official trailer for the three-hour filmed event, which tells the story from the beloved 1987 film in a fresh perspective.

The TV special also stars Colt Prattes as Johnny Castle, Debra Messing as Baby’s mom Marjorie, Bruce Greenwood as her dad Dr. Jake Houseman, Nicole Scherzinger as Penny Rivera, Sarah Hyland as Lisa Houseman, Tony Roberts as Max Kellerma, Katey Sagal as Vivian Pressman, Billy Dee Williams as Tito, and and J. Quinton Johnson as Marco.

Don’t forget – Dirty Dancing premieres on Wednesday, May 24 @ 8PM ET on ABC.

While many are thinking this is an exact remake of the 1987 movie, Abigail doesn’t want you to think of it that way.

“It’s a reimagining, not a reenactment,” she told Out mag. “I don’t believe that stories are only meant to be told once. You can tell them differently.”

Abigail adds, “I’m not doing an imitation of Jennifer Grey‘s iconic performance in the original. Instead, I tried to see Baby as how she related to me, and hopefully I do the character justice.”

“I don’t want to sound too self-aggrandizing, but I think the movie’s really dope. I think you’re going to love it.”

We bet we will too.

Colt Prattes is a really talented dancer — and we’ll all get to see his moves in the Dirty Dancing TV special event in May on ABC.

But just what inspired Colt, who plays Johnny, to start dancing in the first place? The movie!

“Growing up I watched this movie almost every weekend,” he admitted on Instagram recently. “It inspired me to start dancing and still inspires me every time I see it.”

Colt added, “Beyond honored to be a part of this.”

While the classic final dance number of ABC’s Dirty Dancing remake might look impressively graceful, Abigail Breslin says she was “terrified!”

Luckily, the actress had co-star Colt Prattes to help calm her nerves as he lifted her up into the air along to “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the 1987 movie.

“There was this weight of everyone loving it so much,” Abigail told TV Insider. “Just being graceful is a big enough feat for me, but being graceful while in the air? It was terrifying.”

“Yet we pulled it off – partially due to Colt‘s talent, but also due to the fact that he knew I would murder him if he dropped me,” she joked.

Dirty Dancing centers on Frances “Baby” Houseman (Abigail), who, while vacationing with her family in the Catskills Mountains, falls in love with the camp’s dance instructor Johnny Castle (Colt).

It was just announced that Colt Prattes has joined Abigail, 19, in the upcoming ABC Dirty Dancing remake as Johnny.

Johnny, originally played by Patrick Swayze, is the charismatic dance instructor and leader of the working-class entertainment staff at an early 1960s Catskill Mountains resort.

The Dirty Dancing remake is set to be a three-hour event with filmed song and dance performances, based on the 1987 film.
