The Riverdale cast have big wish lists when it comes to crossover episodes!
Some members of the CW hit’s cast – including KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, and Lili Reinhart, revealed their dream crossover shows during their recent appearance at Comic-Con on Sunday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.
In a series of tweets, GameSpot Entertainment Editor Chris Hayner shared the stars’ answers to the big crossover question:
The 38-year-old actor gave one very special Arrow fan the most amazing gift of all time at the show’s final Comic-Con panel on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.
Stephen gifted the fan, Sarah with one of his official Arrow suits from the show.
Sarah first met Stephen at San Diego Comic-Con back in 2017, when she spoke at the show’s panel to thank Stephen for his charity work fighting cancer.
The super fan then revealed that she was a cancer survivor and Stephen promptly jumped down from the stage to give her an arrow necklace.
Stephen invited Sarah to come back the next year to give him the necklace back. Sarah made good on the promise and returned to Comic-Con in 2018 with the necklace for Stephen.
The Arrow star traded Sarah for the necklace, giving her an actual bow from the show.
This year, Sarah returned again and exchanged the bow for the Arrow suit.
When Stephen gave her the iconic costume, she immediately put the outfit on.
The 22-year-old actress shared all the proof the world needs of that fact in an Instagram post on Monday (July 22) of her and her Riverdale co-star face-swapped at New York Comic-Con.
Lili shared the photo, which is equal parts hilarious and creepy, in honor of the Riverdale cast’s appearance at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.
The funny, weird, and perfectly disturbing photo puts KJ’s face on Lili’s body (she was wearing a pink and red dress at the time) and vice versa, with Lili’s face on KJ’s face, complete with his spiky red hair.
The 22-year-old actress filmed her CW hit Riverdale and her upcoming movie, Hustlers, at the same time and she opened up about the experience during an interview with E! News at Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif.
“It was intense,” Lili said of the hectic work schedule. “[But] really a lot of fun and so different from Riverdale. I started filming Hustlers as I was wrapping the third season, so I was going back and forth a lot, which was two completely different…worlds.”
Lili added, “It was a really great experience.”
Then, the actress’ Riverdale co-star Camila Mendes chimed in that Lili plays a stripped in the upcoming movie and added that, “It was written in the cards for her.”
When Lili asked why Camila thought the Hustlers role was so perfect for her, Camila referenced an iconic Riverdale moment: “Because of that episode…when you did a striptease.”
The 19-year-old actress gushed about Halle being cast as Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action The Little Mermaid during an interview with ET at Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif.
“One, she is Ariel,” Yara said. “Like, if you know her, she is the most ethereal voice. And Chloe x Halle are two powerful young women. I don’t know other people who produce and write their own music, that are so involved in their process, that take their art so seriously and have such a great message.”
Yara didn’t stop there. She went on to discuss how Halle’s turn as Ariel will change the princess game for years to come.
“So to see Halle in this role, it redefines what it means to be a princess, and I think she does maintain all of those classic traits of Ariel while still bringing that sense of confidence and empowerment,” Yara said.
