The 23-year-old actress will be presenting during the broadcast and she is also supporting her movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is nominated for five awards tonight.

Just the other day, it was revealed that Daisy has a great singing voice and that she recorded a song with a “massive superstar” this weekend.

Daisy Ridley shows off her award inside the 2016 U.S.-Ireland Alliance Oscar Wilde Awards held at Bad Robot on Thursday night (February 25) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress will be presenting at the 2016 Academy Awards this weekend, and on top of that, will be recording a song with a “massive superstar”.
Star Wars director J.J. Abrams dropped the news on the carpet last night.
“One day on set, she just started singing and had the most beautiful voice I ever heard,” he shared. “On Saturday, this weekend, she is going to record a song with an unnamed person, but let’s just say a massive superstar.”

The 23-year-old actress went to see the play The Rabbit Hole with her mom the day before, and she posted that it made her feel moved to tears the rest of the day.
“I have never been so affected by a play… Ever. You know when the tears are streaming and you can’t sniff cause it’s quiet and your throat hurts from the lump in it? It was that,” Daisy wrote on Instagram. “It’s hours later and I still keep being moved to tears….(I had this excess emotional energy afterwards so I baked a lemon drizzle cake.)”

The 23-year-old Star Wars: The Force Awakens star got in a much deserved rest after touring the world on the film’s massive press tour! If you didn’t know, Daisy portrays Rey in the hit movie.
The film has raked in $1.54 billion, topping Furious 7 and Marvel’s The Avengers at at $1.515 billion and $1.52 billion, respectively. The movie is expected to keep making more and more and could become the most profitable movie worldwide, Variety reports.
