Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney get the crowd going during the ACM Party For A Cause Festival held at Globe Life Park on Friday afternoon (April 17) in Arlington, Texas.
The Dan + Shay duo recently chatted about their nomination and performing with Nick Jonas ahead of the 2015 ACM Awards.
“To be performing is kind of next-level,” Shay shared. “It’s going to be really cool, man. Dan’s been working really hard on the track, and it sounds bangin’, so it’s going to be a really fun performance.”
They added about their nomination, “Being nominated was the craziest thing ever. Just being nominated is such an honor for us. I mean � this is our second time being nominated, and I think it’s crazy, just for the amount of time that we’ve been together as a duo, it’s just crazy that we got nominated and this is our second year.”

Dan & Shay hit up the stage during the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival at MGM Resorts Village in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon (October 3).
The country duo just kicked off their tour the night before in Los Angeles.

“Excited to announce that we’ll be performing with @carrieunderwood, @HunterHayes, + more at #CMACountryChristmas,” the guys announced on Twitter.
The special will also feature Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, LeAnn Rimes, and Michael W. Smith, and tape at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 7th.

Dan + Shay stop by the Elvis Duran Morning Show at the Z100 Studios in New York City on Wednesday morning (July 30).
The guys — Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney — chatted up their album, Where It All Began, and hitting the road with Blake Shelton.
“Blake is super funny. He’s just an everyday guy, playing basketball all day and hanging out,” Dan recently dished to CMT. “He actually came up on our bus a while ago, and he told us this funny story. This [tour] bus is pretty old, if you can’t tell.
He continued, “And so when Blake came up here, he was like, ‘Hey, man. I think this might be my old bus. I actually had it painted blue because they were asking me what color I wanted my bus, and I was holding a Bud Light can at the time, and I just told them to paint it this color.’”

Dan + Shay get the feel for the stage during rehearsals for the 2014 CMT Music Awards inside the Bridgestone Arena on Monday night (June 2) in Nashville, Tenn.
The hot new duo are up for Duo Video of the Year at this year’s show, for their debut single, “19 You and Me”.
“Watching music videos on @CMT this morning. PUMPED for the #CMTawards tomorrow night!” Dan + Shay tweeted, getting excited for the show tomorrow night.
Later this year, after wrapping up tours with both Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay will hit the road on their own for the Where It All Began Tour, which kicks off on October 9th.
