Daniella Monet is getting real about mom life!
The Victorious actress opened up to fans on Instagram on Friday (January 24).
“AM -> PM,” she captioned the two photos below. “Not gonna sugarcoat it, I’m spent. every bit of me.
becoming a mom is like a bootcamp that never ends, lol. physically, mentally, and emotionally I’m being tested daily. man, there are so many special moments I wouldn’t trade for absolutely anything, but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t the hardest most rewarding job I’ve ever had.”
“Moms, you’re not alone,” she continued. “We’re not all polished instagram families that have it all figured out. I promise that when it is hard, I won’t pretend it’s not because that’s just not fair.”
“I’ll end with this because it just made me literally LOL,” she added. “@gaftonguy just asked me if I need him to pick anything up from Arizona or Hawaii. 💀.”

Daniella Monet is excited to teach her son Gio about veganism and animal welfare as he grows up.
The Victorious actress – who has been vegetarian since she was about 5 years old and is now vegan – got candid in a new interview with Mercy for Animals’ Compassionate Living. Here’s what she had to share:
On educating her son about veganism and animal welfare: “Nothing makes me more giddy than to imagine him growing up knowing this from birth. Something about having instilled this from infancy seems magical to me. And to be able to give that to him… I think it’s going to be be really special. Whatever he decides to do in his life is his calling, and the best that I can do is shed light on the things that I think matter and speak the truth and watch him sort of run with it.”
On if her eating habits changed while pregnant: “I feel like it’s been so seamless. The best part about being vegan is you really don’t have any limitations while pregnant. A lot of people struggle with having to give up lunch meat or certain cheeses or fish. I didn’t have to worry about any of it.”
On if being pregnant inspired her feelings of empathy toward mother animals: “Being pregnant has instilled a totally different level of strength in me. I’ve always been empathetic and just generally very compassionate toward animals, but when it comes to mothers – mother cows – I feel a connection and a strength in me to provide a voice for them that I didn’t even know I really had until being pregnant myself.”

Daniella Monet and her fiance Andrew Gardner take their son Gio on his first hike!
The Victorious actress showed off some Instagram photos from the trio’s outing on Friday (December 27) in Los Angeles.
“Gio’s first hike 🤎🍂🌾🌻⛰,” she captioned the slideshow. “Anyone else from LA take advantage of this beautiful day? I was in awe the entire time 😍.”
In her Stories, Daniella also asks Gio, “See all the oranges? Is that a squirrel? … First family hike!”
Daniella Monet and Andrew Gardner welcomed Gio, their first child, in late September.

Daniella Monet is officially a mom!
The 30-year-old actress and her fiance Andrew Gardner welcomed their baby boy Gio James on Saturday (September 29).

Daniella took to her Instagram to share the happy news along with a photo of the infant.
“and just like that, you are our everything,” Daniella captioned the photo.
Daniella and Andrew first shared the news that they were expecting back in April. They have been together over eight years and got engaged back in 2017.

Daniella Monet is a beauty in deep blue as she arrives for the Mercy for Animals 20th Anniversary Gala on Saturday (September 14) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old former Nickelodeon star opened up on the red carpet about how singer and former co-star Ariana Grande reacted when she told her she was expecting her first child with fiance, Andrew Gardner.
“Oh, she cried her eyes out,” Daniella told Us Weekly. “I FaceTimed her to tell her and she was just crying and it was so sweet and really special.”
“I think it trips her out cause, like, we’ve known each other for so long now and I’m the first to go through this next phase.”
Daniella added, “It was so sweet. I know she was even in a spa at the time and she still took the call and, like, was just a mess. It was sweet.”

Daniella Monet puts her baby bump on full display while walking the carpet at the premiere of The Game Changers on Wednesday (September 4) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old former Victorious actress was joined by her fiance Andrew Gardner at the event.
“I typically only ‘step out’ for meaningful occasions. This was meaningful AF. SEE @gamechangersmovie,” she wrote on Instagram the next morning.
Daniella and Andrew also met up with pal Frankie Grande inside the event.
Earlier that day, Daniella had her final ultrasound before the baby comes. Baby Gio is due at the end of the month on September 29th!

The pregnant Victorious actress made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday (July 20).
“Wait until you meet all the people who love you Gio, you’re so lucky,” she captioned the photo below, featuring Daniella clutching her baby bump and wearing an off-the-shoulder white dress, a leafy green crown, and a big smile.
The sign she’s holding reads “Gio James. Due 9-29-19.”
The happy couple revealed that they are expecting their first child together back in April.
