Danielle Panabaker Hopes To Inspire Other Actresses To Step Behind The Camera & Direct

Danielle Panabaker links arms with a friend while leaving dinner at Craig’s restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday night (May 11).

Just recently, the 31-year-old Flash actress opened up about her directorial debut and how she hopes to inspire other women to step behind the camera.

“Since the announcement was made that I was directing, I’ve really been impressed by the number of women who have reached out to me and said, ‘I’m interested in directing. How did you do it?’” Danielle shared with ET.

She adds, “Being able to sort of pay it forward and support them in that – it’s been great. It’s been something that I wasn’t expecting at all.”

Here’s hoping that other CW actresses will be directing too – because Danielle is the first!

Danielle Panabaker Has Some Ideas For a 'Sky High' Sequel

Danielle Panabaker Has Some Ideas For a 'Sky High' Sequel

There’s been so much talk about a possible Sky High sequel and we’d be so excited if there was one coming – as would Danielle Panabaker.

Talking with IBT recently, the -year-old actress opened up about her own ideas for the movie, if it should happen.

“I’d like to think that maybe they’re teachers at Sky High because it’s been long enough that they could go back and teach,” Danielle shared. “They could be the young, cool, hip teachers…and then they’re teaching the next class of superheroes.”

She also opened up about keeping in touch with the cast over the years.

“I just saw Nick [Braun] and Michael [Angarano, who played Will] at a party in LA…and I love those boys so much,” she adds. “I would see Mary Elizabeth [Winstead, who played Gwen Grayson / Royal Pain] when we were both working in Vancouver. I think it would be great, and I think we would all jump at the opportunity.”
