David Dobrik is opening up about a scary encounter at his house.

The 24-year-old social star recalled the events on a new episode of his Views podcast.

“Well I’m laying in bed, and Ella‘s there. She’s like running through what we have to do, and we ordered Door Dash like an hour ago for breakfast food, and they leave it by the door,” David shared. “Five minutes later a guy walks into my room and goes, ‘Here’s your food. Hi David!’”

“He wasn’t our Door Dasher. He was just some kid who had picked up our food from our doorstep and came into my room to deliver it to me,” he added.

“I had seen the guy. The kid came to the door like a half an hour before. And he knocked. And I was like, ‘Sorry you have to leave. This is private property,’” Ella said. “As soon as he walked into David‘s room I recognized him.”

They were able to get him outside of the house, and ordered him an uber. Unfortunately, he returned later that night in a much more scary situation.

Outside the house, he showed up wearing a hoodie with his hands in his pocket.

David recalled saying, “‘Put your hands where I can see them!’ I kept screaming at him. And he wasn’t. I was like, ‘We’re calling the police.’… I thought he was going to shoot me in the head. Honestly.”

Ella shared that she debated stepping in front of David if they guy did pull out a gun. Luckily, the police showed up and removed him from the property before anything serious happened.

David Dobrik wears the perfect fall/winter outfit while making an appearance at the 2020 American Music Awards, which aired from Microsoft Theater on Sunday (November 22) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old social star served as a presenter at the annual awards show, along with Derek Hough.

David was in attendance as presenter, which was part of a T-Mobile sponsorship.

Derek hit the stage to present the Favorite Song – Country award, which was won by Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber for “10,000 Hours.”

Derek also recently opened up about how he feels about his former DWTS dance partner Bindi Irwin being pregnant with her first child.

“I love her so much!” he told Access Hollywood. “The fact that she’s going to be a mom, my mind is exploding right now — with joy. But it’s also crazy because I just think of her as my little Bindi. But the same thing about Shawn Johnson. She’s Shawn the mom now. Everybody is growing up. All my babies are growing up! I’m so proud of them!”

David Dobrik is pretty well known for surprising fans in big ways!

The YouTuber has uploaded many videos where he goes out and surprises people with big cash prizes, cars, and more.

He’s also teamed up with brands to help give away some items, from video game consoles to even Tesla cars!

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, airing on Wednesday (November 4), David opened up about what inspired his surprise videos.

“Growing up I was a big fan of military surprise videos,” he told Drew. “I’m such a sucker for reactions whether someone is reacting they are terrified or scared or super happy, I love it all.”

“When I got the chance to surprise people in a positive way rather than scare them with like a spider or some kind of animal, that’s what I wanted to lean towards. It’s the most selfish feeling to surprise others with people because the joy you get from them being happy, it pays it back ten-fold. It’s the best,” David added.

David Dobrik has gotten himself into the fragrance world!

The 24-year-old YouTuber and Dodgeball Thunderdome host revealed his new line of fragrances, David’s Perfume, with Flower Shop Perfumes Co.

“ITS FINALLY OUT!!! We’ve been working on this since early last year and i really don’t like to brag, but i promise ya this smells delicious!!” David wrote on Instagram.

If you didn’t know, these fellow YouTubers also have their own line of fragrances, which launched earlier this year!

David Dobrik revealed something a little bit shocking – he doesn’t really make money from his YouTube channel.

The 24-year-old Dodgeball Thunderdome host shared a new interview that his videos don’t bring much of a profit.

“I don’t make any money on YouTube. I don’t get paid for the videos on my channel. They’re all demonetized and copyrighted by labels,” David told ET‘s Katie Krause. “I can tell you, my paycheck right now is under $800 which is very low to be able to produce those videos because there’s a lot of things I have to pay for.”

“It’s really low. It got cut after all the advertisers backed out, then they came back in but my type of videos, because I have swearing and stuff, weren’t really being paid for as much. I don’t make money on that,” he added.

David‘s YouTube channel boasts 18.2 million subscribers at the time of this posting, with almost eight billion views!

David Dobrik is heading to the Discovery Channel!

It was recently announced that the 24-year-old YouTuber will be hosting the new competition series Dodgeball Thunderdome, alongside co-hosts Erin Lim and Andrew Hawkins.

In the new series, the game of dodgeball is reimagined, where winners are not determined simply by their strength and the losers aren’t always picked last. Contestants have a chance to claim glory in extraordinary challenges where strength matters but so does strategy, quick thinking, and the willingness to leave everything on the field.

Competitors range from professional athletes to people with no athletic background whatsoever.

“I’m super excited to be working with Discovery on Dodgeball Thunderdome. Dodgeball was always everyone’s favorite game in gym class and hosting this show brings back many sweaty memories of dominating in Vernon Hills,” David said in a statement.

Dodgeball Thunderdome will premiere Wednesday, August 19, at 9pm ET/PT on Discovery.

The YouTube star turns 24 years old TODAY (July 23) and he got a tweet from his icon, Robert Downey Jr.

“HBD, @DavidDobrik. Careful with that one… But not too careful,” RDJ wrote on Twitter, along with a retweet of David‘s post in his new Iron Man suit. David says he “waited 3 months for this to come in the mail!!! Never taking this off hahahah”

“Best birthday gift to wake up to oh my goodness swipe over!! Thank you Iron Man!! ❤️,” David captioned a photo on Instagram, as well as a screenshot of the tweet.

“ohmygadldjsguwhgwg r u kidding me!!! I just had a heart attack. My palms are sweating soo much. I love you 3000 Mr. Stark oh my god,” he added on Twitter. “Hahahahahahahah WHAT”
