Dinah Jane is making a comeback, but her journey to her solo career wasn’t always that easy.
The 25-year-old singer recently revealed that she’s working on new music and starting her own record label, a first for a Polynesian woman.
The former Fifth Harmony member opened up in a new interview about transitioning to being a solo artist, having a bond with her bandmates, taking a break and music executives struggling to find her image.

Although fans want Ally, Camila, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui to get back together, it doesn’t like like any plans are in motion based on Ally‘s latest TikTok.

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Fifth Harmony was formed?!
The girl group was first put together on July 27, 2012 on The X Factor, with Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani.
They made it all the way to third place in the competition, but went on to achieve much success.
During their time together, they won multiple awards, including an American Music Award, multiple iHeartRadio Music Awards, multiple MTV VMAs and EMAs, and several more fan-voted awards like Kids’ Choice, Teen Choice, Radio Disney and People’s Choice awards.
In 2016, after just two albums, Camila left the group. In 2020, it was revealed that they could’ve replaced her but chose not to.
Following Camila‘s departure, Fifth Harmony went on to release one more, self-titled album before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2018.

Ally Brooke is opening up in her just released book “Finding Your Harmony”!
While the 27-year-old singer said she didn’t want to talk much about the Fifth Harmony drama, she did reveal that they had the chance to replace Camila Cabello.
Camila left the group almost four years ago, and 5H released a shocking message to fans announcing the news.
Now, Ally reveals that there was the option to bring another singer to take the missing spot, but the rest of the girls decided to just keep it as the four of them.
“There were several different options and routes we could’ve taken. There were a lot of different ideas floating around,” she told StyleCaster. “But the four of us decided, ‘Hey. We think it would be odd to all of a sudden bring someone.’ The four of us have a history, and we know what we went through together. We know our journey. We know each other. We felt like there was no question that we should continue on as we were.”
She shared that their management had offered quite a few names and one of them stood out.
“I don’t know if I can share, but one would’ve been really cool,” Ally said. “She’s at the top now, and everybody loves her. I love her. That wasn’t what we felt like would be right for our group, even though we love this other singer, and she’s awesome. She probably wouldn’t have accepted anyways because she probably would’ve said the same thing, like, ‘I don’t know if I should step in here.’ And her career is already blowing up.”
Dinah Jane just dropped another new song!
Just a few weeks after the 22-year-old musician dropped “1901,” Dinah dropped another sultry track titled “Missed A Spot.”
Dinah explained that her recent sexy songs are thanks to her alter ego Miss Jane.
“Because of her, I’m dropping these really sexy records. I would say she is a confident woman, has no fears, loves to take risks, loves a good challenge, and loves to elevate. It’s just her owning up to being a badass woman,” Dinah told MTV.

The 22-year-old musician just dropped her romantic new track “1501″ and she’s been waiting two years to share it!

“I’ve had this record #1501 for 2yrs now .. i felt like if I named it ‘wait’ it was too expected. So why not play off a hotel room number,” Dinah wrote on her Twitter.
She continued, “for those of you wondering why I specifically named this record ’1501′ as the title, it’s a number from my childhood. can’t say what exactly but it’s stuck w me all these years <3 when I completed this song I envisioned a hotel room – so when you listen to #1501 let it take you there with your significant other enjoooyyyy”
