Amazing news – Veronica Roth is working on her next book series!
According to THR, the Divergent author is set to write two new books for HarperCollins Children’s Books, with the first one expected in 2017 and the next in 2018.
The details are being kept mum, but they are being described as in “the vein of Star Wars” and will tell of a boy’s “unlikely alliance” with an enemy.
The publisher said, “Both desperate to escape their oppressive lives, they help each other attain what they most desire: for one, redemption, and the other, revenge.”

Shailene Woodley breaks through the glass walls in the explosive new trailer for Insurgent.
The 23-year-old actress stars as Tris in the upcoming Divergent sequel, and the new trailer finds her running with rage towards Kate Winslet in the spot which will air ahead of the Super Bowl this Sunday, February 1st.
“She’s left with a lot of confusion as far as what the future holds,” Shailene dished to EW. “But she’s also left with a lot of guilt from the war, from losing her parents and from Will, so [in Insurgent] you see a newfound strength in her for revenge, as well as a lot of internal battles that she’s trying to weave her way around.”
Theo added, “[In] this movie, I wanted it to be clear that obviously things have changed and he’s fallen in love with Shai‘s character, but at the same time, he’s still the same man. So I don’t want him to suddenly be like Prince Charming or something. So when you first meet him, he is trying to protect her at the beginning of the movie, and calm her, and make sure she doesn’t make any mistakes. But at the same time, they’re fugitives in this faction that they shouldn’t be in, and he knows that they’ve got to move quickly. And then all hell breaks loose.”
