Douglas Smith is in final talks for the upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Sea of Monsters flick, Variety reports.
With Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson returning for their roles, Thor Freudenthal will direct the sequel to the 2010 movie.
So who would Douglas play? Our bet is on Tyson, Percy’s Cyclops half-brother. He actually travels with Percy and Annabeth in their quest to save Grover from an island in the Bermuda Triangle.
“Sea of Monsters” chronicles Percy’s rescue of satyr friend Grover from the Cyclops Polyphemus and save Camp Half Blood from a Titan’s attack by bringing the Golden Fleece to cure Thalia’s poisoned pine tree.
The film is expected to debut on March 26, 2013.
