Ariana Greenblatt Reveals How Much Dance Practice She Actually Went Through For 'DWTS Juniors' In Her Week #2 Blog (Exclusive)

We’re back with another DWTS Juniors Blog from Ariana Greenblatt!

The 11-year-old actress will be writing a blog for JustJaredJr.com and sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from Dancing With the Stars Juniors!

In her own words, Ariana is telling us all about her second week on the show, that punky jive that earned her another top score of the night and more. Check it out below!

OMG, so week one gave me all the feels, sweaty hands, sweaty armpits, butterflies, nerves, nerves and nerves!

Going into the second week, I felt much better and excited about going on stage and doing it all over again! When I heard we were going to dance the jive to Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend”, I was super excited and pumped to just rock out!

We really do have the craziest time together especially when we’re practicing back flips 1000 times in rehearsal to make them perfect for all you Dancing with the Stars Juniors fans! We can put in as much as 26 hours of rehearsals in a week to learn new song and dance routines so taking care of your body is really important. I was feeling sore from using all these muscles I didn’t know I had but Brandon kept it super fun and Arty super silly.

Some of the best times on show days are when we get friends and family to come out and support us. I was lucky to get a lot of support from my Disney Channel family and my real one as well. It’s awesome hearing them cheer and scream your name at the end of a number. Afterwards we always find a place to meet up and have dinner. It’s a great way to end the week!

Fun Fact: My Mom designed my hair style for this performance!

Super excited to be asked by JustJaredJr to give you little personal recaps of Dancing with the Stars Juniors or as I like to write DWTSjr (much shorter, like us!) I’m like an official reporter. How crazy?!

We had two weeks of intense rehearsals before the big 2 hour premiere and I bet you weren’t expecting a double elimination right away. I know I wasn’t! Everyone was so nervous we didn’t know what to expect or how this big audience was going to be but it was incredible because not only was it our first show but everyone had lots of friends and family supporting them. The energy was bonkers! Can you hear how loud the crowd was?!

So buckle up, grab your popcorn, get cozy because DWTSjr is about to knock your socks off every Sunday night at 8pm only on ABC!

***Fun Fact: I told my mentor Brandon before the show the score I wanted and guess what, it’s exactly what I got! Afterwards he ran up to me and said “You were right!” 8*8*8 Pretty good start getting the high score of the night! Woohoo #TeamBrandon

If you missed Ariana and Artyon‘s performance, which earned the highest score of the night, watch it on JJJ now!

Lindsay Arnold Confesses She's Already Having Withdrawals of Not Dancing With Jordan Fisher

Lindsay Arnold Confesses She's Already Having Withdrawals of Not Dancing With Jordan Fisher

It’s only been three days since Lindsay Arnold won the mirrorball trophy with Jordan Fisher on Dancing With The Stars and two days since she was last with him in New York City on GMA – but she’s still having withdrawals.

“I’m already having withdrawals of not being able to dance with Jordan every week!” she told JJJ this week, moments before they were announced as the winning team.

Lindsay adds that “it’s been so much fun just dancing with him and this is the first season that I was able to dance to my fullest potential because I had a partner who could keep up and I can’t tell you how great that is as a pro.”

“When you have a partner who can dance with you like that and you’re not just dancing around them, but dancing with them, that is something that we do not take for granted as pros and I’m so grateful I’ve had that with Jordan and I’m already sad thinking that tomorrow, that’s all over.”

Lindsay continues, “I did things this season that I never would have been able to do…and I’ve been so pushed as a teacher and stepped outside the box to be creative and i’m so grateful of that but more than anything i’m grateful for our relationship that we’ve formed.

It’s such a good thing that Jordan is coming on the tour with her!

FYI: Jordan is wearing Standard Deviation jeans.

Lindsay Arnold Reflects On Last Rehearsals with Jordan Fisher Just Hours Before DWTS Season 25 Finale (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold Reflects On Last Rehearsals with Jordan Fisher Just Hours Before DWTS Season 25 Finale (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold is more than ready for Dancing With The Stars finale.

JJJ had the chance to speak with the pro dancer in between rehearsals for the big night and she expressed just how much she’ll be missing rehearsals with Jordan.

“That thing was really tough,” Lindsay says about their freestyle. “I definitely did not make anything easy for Jordan this season and I was out of breath and dying almost every single dance and he was right there with me. I’m so proud of him.”

Knowing that they both still had injuries to overcome for the final week — her knee, his eye — Lindsay knew they had to take it slow to have a big impact.

“The biggest thing that we said was that we weren’t going to let anything keep us down, including both of our injuries and we had to be careful throughout the week,” she tells us. “The first couple of days, we had to be easy on ourselves and not go too hard.

But that doesn’t mean they were moving at a snail’s pace either. It just meant that they were working twice as hard.

“I knew that both of us were going to take care of ourselves so that we could be ready and we did that. We had a little challenges and setbacks, but didn’t let that get to us.”

And it worked — Lindsay and Jordan were the first to be called safe for the final night of the season.

She says of their actual last rehearsal for the fusion challenge last night, “It was actually bittersweet because it was our last rehearsal together. We put together our fusion dance and it was so much fun. We were just so much fun because we were so happy on how the night went, and we were ready to work hard. We got in the studio and we were sad and happy all at the same time.”

“Tonight is going to be such a fun night of celebrating an incredible season. We’re not gonna let stress get to us or worry about anything. We’re just going to enjoy ourselves and enjoy the last time dancing together.”

So where will Lindsay put that mirrored ball trophy if they win? “I’m putting it right in the middle of my table for dinner on Thanksgiving day.”

Jordan Fisher Gives Credit to Lindsay Arnold For Helping Him Learn This Lesson on 'DWTS'

Jordan Fisher Gives Credit to Lindsay Arnold For Helping Him Learn This Lesson on 'DWTS'

Jordan Fisher is feeling all the emotions right now ahead of tonight’s Dancing With The Stars finale.

Not only will Jordan be dancing again with pro partner Lindsay Arnold two more times, he’ll also be performing a holiday mashup with Debbie Gibson!

“I have a range of emotions actually,” Jordan tells JJJ just hours ahead of the festivities tonight. “I’m excited, I’m tired, I’m sad that this thing is almost over, I’m wondering if our names will be called tonight…I’m just looking forward to soaking up every moment of this last day.”

He adds, “It’s been such a special experience and one that I’m really sad of the idea of it leaving my life. I definitely feel a part of this family and hope to be a part of the show in the future.”

Throughout the season, we’ve seen how much Jordan has upped his game from week to week — but that’s not the most valuable thing that he’s learned during the season.

Jordan‘s biggest lesson from Lindsay was how not to beat himself up over the little things.

“Lindsay has done an incredible job at making me a better artist and pushing myself to work harder and do better and expect more, but at the same time, I’ve struggled my whole life with being my worst critic and being really hard on myself,” he shared. “I beat myself up over dumb things and she’s just helped me get past that and helped me not to take myself so seriously all the time.”

Jordan adds, “She’s shown me a really great example that you can do your best and that is enough. You don’t have to constantly destroy yourself to be the best at some things because at the end of the day as long as you’re prepared, when the opportunity comes along, you’ll find success.”

Lindsay Arnold Looks Back On All Jordan Fisher's Improvements Over DWTS Season 25 (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold Looks Back On All Jordan Fisher's Improvements Over DWTS Season 25 (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold is have a little Flashback Friday moment with her experience with Jordan Fisher on Dancing With the Stars today.

In her DWTS Blog for JJJ, the pro dancer is looking back at all his amazing performances and revealing how much improvement has been made since then.

One of the big moments for them was their Tango in the first week.

“It was a great dance,” Lindsay reflects, “I know that if we were given the tango in week 9 and still in the competition, it would’ve been even better, because he would’ve learned so much more.”

At the time Lindsay told us that Jordan was still coming into his own as a ballroom dancer and addressed that mostly all of the celebs had had dance experience in their past.

“A lot of people on the show have had dance backgrounds but when you talk about a general dance and then a ballroom background, they are a night and days difference,” she says. “There are so many things in ballroom that do not correlate with any other dance styles.”

It was great to see him improve over the couple of weeks that we had then, and it made us more excited to continue, because I knew that there was so much more to offer.”

DWTS Pro Lindsay Arnold Dishes Planning Her Upcoming Freestyle with Jordan Fisher (Exclusive)

DWTS Pro Lindsay Arnold Dishes Planning Her Upcoming Freestyle with Jordan Fisher (Exclusive)

We all kind of know that Lindsay Arnold is going to make it to the finals on Dancing With The Stars with partner Jordan Fisher — however, she isn’t planning their freestyle just yet.

For one, they still need people to vote (we hope you did!) and there’s real no guarantee, and two, none of the pros actually plan that far in advance.

Lindsay spoke to JJJ about how planning her performances with her partner go, and she’s touched on it before where the pros will get the songs almost right after the shows on Monday and have a small window to choreograph.

Knowing that, we still had to ask about their freestyle for the finale, since she and Jordan are one of the top teams. But does that mean she already has an idea in her head? Not really.

“I actually don’t plan too much in advance,” she shared. “We just don’t know what dance we will have next…last week, I got the song for one of our dances at 11:30 at night after the show. I listen to it right before I go to sleep and then wake up that next morning and rapid fire, trying to think as many possible ideas as I can. It is tough sometimes.”

But now that the semi-finals are amongst us, Lindsay is starting to think of ideas for the finale.

“At this point, everyone who is left, is starting to think of a freestyle options. There are only 5 couples left and 4 of us are going to be doing freestyles,” she shared. “It’s very important now that we start thinking ahead. I definitely started to rack my brain over what Jordan can do best and in that sense, we do plan ahead.”

Stay tuned for more from Lindsay on JJJ!
