Eddie Redmayne overlooks the city in a brand new poster for his upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The Harry Potter prequel film was written by the book’s original author J.K. Rowling and follows Eddie‘s character Newt Scamander’s adventures in New York.
Newt has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he encounters a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case and some of hisfantastic beasts escape which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
That same day, the film also announced a team of worldwide creators, which included Tyler Oakley and Ingrid Nilsen, who are going to help fans get ready for the movie!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2016.
Eddie Redmayne is joined by his Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them co-stars while attending the 2016 CinemaCon event for Warner Bros. on Tuesday (April 12) in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old Oscar-winning actor made his first public appearance alongside co-stars Alison Sudol, Colin Farrell, and Dan Fogler to promote the film
Emilia Clarke was at the event to promote her film Me Before You and also in attendance was Lights Out actress Teresa Palmer.

Daniel Radcliffe will no longer be starring in any Harry Potter movies (and he’s even said that he won’t star in the upcoming stage show), but he seems to have jealousy over Eddie Redmayne‘s upcoming spin-off movie!
Eddie will be playing Newt Salamander in the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Daniel recently cursed out the Oscar-winning actor in a new interview as he seemed to be jealous over his costume.
“Oh f– you, Eddie, in your brilliant costume� I got jeans and a zip top for 10 years and you’ve got a greatcoat already?” Daniel jokingly told NME.
