The 15-year-old Eighth Grade star looked super chic in a burgundy-velvet suit as she was joined on the red carpet by her director Bo Burnham.

Elsie is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the awards show tonight.
The show will air on NBC and the broadcast kicks off at 8pm EST/5pm PST. Make sure to tune in!

The Golden Globes are this weekend and there will be lots and lots of parties attended by all the best celebs!
W Magazine threw an event on Friday night (January 4) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to celebrate its Best Performances Portfolio and some of the celebs there included Lili Reinhart and Sarah Hyland.
More stars at the event included Sarah’s boyfriend Wells Adams, Eighth Grade‘s Elsie Fisher and Josh Hamilton, The Hate U Give‘s Amandla Stenberg, The Vampire Diaries‘ Kat Graham, and Big Little Lies‘ Kathryn Newton.
Also in attendance were future Charlie’s Angels star Ella Balinska, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s Justice Smith, Leave No Trace‘s Thomasin McKenzie, Masters of Sex‘s Isabelle Fuhrman, and singer Troye Sivan.

The 15-year-old actress joined her Eighth Grade co-star Jake Ryan and director Bo Burnham for the event.

Speaking to Variety, Jake opened up about what he brought to his role in the film.
“[My character] Gabe is a bit of an awkward fellow, but he doesn’t care,” he shares. “He still tries to be himself and crack jokes, and that’s a lot like me. When I talk to people, I don’t tend to care what people think of me. I like to make people feel comfortable and Gabe likes to do the same.”
Jake adds, “In the chicken nugget scene, he just wants Kayla to be comfortable. He’s very considerate, like Kayla, and recognized that Kayla is shy, nervous and as awkward as he is.

Shay Mitchell shines in a glittery green dress while arriving at the 12th Annual CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute held at American Museum of Natural History on Sunday night (December 9) in New York City.
The Possession of Hannah Grace actress was joined by Elsie Fisher and Darby Camp at the annual event.
“CNN Heroes is something I look forward to every year,” Shay revealed on her Instagram Stories. “It is so easy to get caught up in our own world and things we think are big problems. This night is about the incredible people out there making a change and I have so much respect ad admiration for our honored heroes this year.”
She added, “If you can, take a moment to watch this award show and meet the true heroes that walk among us…”
