It sounds like Wesley Stromberg really is moving on from his Emblem3 days.
The 21-year-old singer and former X Factor finalist revealed that he’s trying to break into the acting world!
“Just auditioned for my first movie and it’s lookin good !!!!!” he tweeted to fans.
Back in June, Wes hit the stage at 2015 DigiFest with Kenny Holland as they performed as their new duo The BalCOny.

Stella Hudgens rocks some cute cat ears while posing with Alli Simpson at the MUDD stage at 2015 Digifest on Saturday (June 6) at Citi Field in Queens, New York.
The ladies, who are both MUDD ambassadors, were joined by Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson of Jack & Jack, Madison Beer, Nash Grier, and Emblem3‘s Wesley Stromberg.

Alli Simpson and Kelli Berglund hit the red carpet for the premiere of Expelled held at Westwood Village Theatre on Wednesday night (December 10) in Westwood, Calif.
The two actresses came out to support Cameron Dallas‘ new film, along with Karan Brar, Ingrid Nilsen, Matt Shively, Lia Marie Johnson, Amanda Steele, Nash Grier, Emblem3 and more.
Expelled centers on Felix, a legendary prankster who seems to always charm his way out of trouble. However, after his third strike at school, the principal has had enough and expels him. Never defeated, Felix resorts to his infamous ways and devises a plan with his brother (Marcus Johns), best friend (Shively), new friend (Johnson) and classmate (Andrea Russett) to convince his parents he’s a stellar student.
The flick is out in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago on December 12th before it hits Video On Demand on December 30th.

We’ve got some pretty bad news for Emblem3 fans everywhere – Drew Chadwick has decided to leave the group.
But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean the end of the band! In an announcement posted on the band’s site, Wesley Stromberg revealed the future of the group.

“We know many of you may be concerned about what this means for Emblem3, but I can assure you this is just the beginning! Me and Keaton started this band when we were 9 and 11 years old and we will continue making music for our fans. We love you with all our heart. E3 has always been about a partnership of likeminded musicians and we’re committed to continuing this journey alongside you all. And who knows, you may also start seeing some very familiar faces popping up :).” Wesley posted.
If your fave was Drew, don’t fret – he’s not leaving the music scene!
“We’re sad to see Drew go but he will always be our brother, and we couldn’t be happier for him as he starts his new journey as a solo artist. If you’d like to stay updated on Drew‘s solo album and news tune into Drew‘s Twitter/Instagram and his YouTube channel for an announcement on June 27th regarding his new album. Peyton List sparkles on the blue carpet at the premiere of Maleficent held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday evening (May 28).
The 16-year-old actress was joined at the premiere event by her twin brother, actor Spencer List, co-star Skai Jackson and Emblem3‘s Keaton and Wesley Stromberg.

“Just watched the premiere of Maleficent… I can’t even put it into words of how proud I am of my uncle Robert Stromberg. Wow,” Keaton tweeted. Their uncle is the director of the flick!

Emblem3 catches up with Bea Miller on the red carpet Selena Gomez poses for some photos backstage at the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Thursday night (May 1) in Los Angeles.
The guys — Wesley and Keaton Stromberg, and Drew Chadwick — reunited with their former X Factor buddy ahead of the show.
Also spotted on the carpet is Macy’s New Rising Star contestant Olivia Somerlyn and Modern Family‘s Nolan Gould.
