The fate of the On My Block spinoff series Freeridge was just revealed!
The mystery dramedy at Netflix takes place after the events of the final season of it’s flagship series, featuring a new core four.
Season one follows “sibling rivals Gloria and Ines and their friends Demi and Cameron who have unleashed a curse bringing dark misfortune into their lives.”
Now, it was just announced whether the show will be back for a second season, just two months after it’s premiere.

Netflix debuted the trailer for Freeridge on Thursday (February 2)!
The streamer shared the new teaser just as the On My Block spinoff series dropped all of it’s episodes on the platform.
The comedy introduces a core four in the same area as the original show.

The first teaser trailer for Freeridge has arrived!
A spinoff of On My Block, the upcoming series will be focusing on a new core four group of friends, in you guessed it, Freeridge.
While there is a mostly new cast, Peggy Blow, who played Abuelita on OMB, will be returning in a new role, which was teased in the trailer.
Series co-creator and showrunner Lauren Iungerich also teased Peggy‘s new character and how it came to be.

Netflix dropped the first photos from the series, which stars Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Bryana Salaz, Tenzing Norgay Trainor and Ciara Riley Wilson.

More casting news has been revealed for the upcoming On My Block spinoff series Freeridge!
The upcoming show was announced in September 2021, and just over a week later casting was announced.
Now, we’re learning more about who we’ll be seeing in the show, including some familiar faces like Tenzing Norgay Trainor and OMB‘s Peggy Blow, according to Variety.
Previously announced series regulars are Bryana Salaz, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ciara Riley Wilson and Shiv Pai, who were introduced in On My Block‘s series finale.
