I am hurt, embarrassed, and disappointed. The racist and distasteful comments from Roseanne are inexcusable.
As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I found out the show got cancelled. I feel so empowered by @iamwandasykes , Channing Dungey and those at ABC standing up against abuse of power and lack of values. Bullies do not win. Ever.
Never more proud to be a part of the ABC family! How does someone think like that? I cant wrap my head around the idea of racism being alive & well in 2018. Many shows incl @Speechless_ABC bring representation/inclusion to ur network! Thank u @ABCNetwork 4 not supporting racism. https://t.co/86skhEnnJ6

“I had an instance where I witnessed somebody I worked with inappropriately touched someone else that I worked with who was a minor. I reported it privately to our showrunner,” she added about an instance she experienced. “The next day, nobody talked to me, and said that I was trying to ruin this person’s career.”
Emma opened up about her experience, which happened outside of work and how it could happen anywhere.
“That’s something I also want to say,” she said. “That it’s not always going to be [in] a work environment.”
