Evie Clair has one of the prettiest voices we’ve heard in a long time and we love hearing her sing each week on America’s Got Talent!
The young singer performed a beautiful and emotional rendition of the Ella Henderson song “Yours” during the semi-finals round on Tuesday (September 5).
Evie was praised by the judges and told that her father, who is battling cancer, is definitely proud of her performance.
“I’ve said this before, you are gutsy. You really, really are. Let me tell you something. This song was beautiful. Your voice was beautiful,” Simon Cowell said during his critique. “I know who wrote this song, but you made it your version. Your tone, your pitch was stunning. It was laid-back. And let me tell you, your dad is going to be so proud of you.”

Evie Clair: Teen Sings Emotional Rendition Of “Yours”
The singer is competing on the program just as her father is going through treatment for colon cancer — something that’s especially hard on her family.
Speaking with Parade, Evie revealed that if she won the reality show, and that million dollar prize, it would go straight to curing her dad of his cancer.
“If my dad is better by the time the show is over, then I would use all the money to pay off all the medical bills,” Evie shared, saving just enough to go to Disneyland too.
She adds, “If he is not better by then, I would definitely use it to go and find a treatment that works because there are, obviously, treatments out there that work, but they are far away and expensive.”
Evie is already in the semi-finals, and we’ll see her perform on an upcoming show.
Celine Tam gives two thumbs up on the press line after performing during the America’s Got Talent quarterfinals in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (August 22).
Just ahead of the show, Celine met with a fan who was there as part of Make-A-Wish.
“It is so good that ‘Make a Wish’ charity association arranged Antonio to watch Celine’s live show tonight and to support Celine,” her parents wrote on her Facebook page.
Celine added, “Antonio said he wish to take photo with me. I said my wish is to use my talent ‘singing to inspire and to motivate people ‘Everything is positive’. Wish Antonio enjoy the show and good health.”

Evie performed the song “Wings” by Birdy while accompanying herself on the piano, which the judges said they loved. The judges also sent their love to Evie‘s father, who is battling colon cancer.
Now, in her Judges Cuts round performance, Evie is tackling the Macy Gray song “I Try” and she brought everyone to tears!
“You are amazing. You’re beautiful,” DJ Khaled, the evening’s guest judge, told her. “You touch everyone’s soul and spirit. Your family is going to be very proud of you.”

The 13-year-old singer obviously got four yeses and is through to the next round of the show.
Evie opened up to the judges about how her dad is battling stage for colon cancer and that “Arms” is a song she sings for him at home.
“When my dad is having rough days, I go up to his room and sing this song to help him feel better and just give him comfort and strength to continue fighting,” she said.
