We have been patiently waiting for season two of Famous in Love ever since the show was renewed back in August — and showrunner I. Marlene King is giving us yet another reason to love the show.
“It was tough to say goodbye to Pretty Little Liars,” she wrote in a note on Twitter.
“But the greatest gift of my job is I get to say hello to almost every PLL department head and crew member as we say hello to season two of Famous In Love. Welcome home my TV family.”
Aww! Famous in Love is basically the closest thing we have to Pretty Little Liars right now, since all of the same people are working on it.
Both characters represent different parts of her life, and the season 1 finale brings these two love interest to a head, implying that Paige will have to make a choice.
Well, if Bella has anything to say about it, the choice isn’t so hard.
“In season two of #famousinlove I want #jaige,” the 19-year-old actress wrote on Instagram yesterday. She also posted a picture with Charlie wrapping his arms around her, both smiling big.
Bella was able to change one storyline she found problematic, so who knows? Maybe she has some sway over the writers.
Until then, we will be waiting for season 2′s love triangle resolution with bated breath.
It doesn’t get much hotter than the hunky stars of Famous in Love and they all hit the carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center on Sunday (August 13) in Los Angeles.
Famous in Love is nominated for Choice Drama TV Show and Choice Breakout TV Show this year. Bella is also up for Choice Drama TV Actress alongside the five leading ladies from Pretty Little Liars.

It’s been a long few months waiting to hear the fate of the show, but Freeform announced today that they are ready to give it another shot, much to the delight of fans everywhere.
Everyone from Bella Thorne to Carter Jenkins to Katelyn Tarver has taken to social media to celebrate the good news with their fans, and their excitement is contagious.
Georgie Flores is amped to be starring in another season.
The network confirmed that the freshman show, starring Bella Thorne, Carter Jenkins and Charlie DePew, will be coming back for an additional season on Freeform.
If you don’t know, Famous in Love centers on Paige Townsend, who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster.
Now, she must learn how to navigate her new star-studded life and the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town, as well as balancing her college workload.
As it turns out, she spoke out to the Famous in Love writers as well to express her thoughts over what she found to be a problematic storyline.
Bella asked the writers to change her character’s reaction to finding out her friend Cassie was working as a topless maid, she told Complex in an interview.
“Originally that scene was written a very different way,” she explained. “[Paige] was just really judgmental about the topless maid [situation]. Originally I felt so bad for the Cassie character.”
“I was like, ‘I don’t want to do the scene, I don’t want to say these lines. This doesn’t sound feminist at all.’”
It’s amazing that Bella was able to speak out and sway the show’s writers, because the original storyline definitely doesn’t sound like the reaction a supportive friend should have. This serves as yet another example of Bella employing her feminism and beliefs in her everyday life.
