The new short film, directed by Alan Barillaro, will premiere ahead of Finding Dory in theaters on June 17th.

The new short tells the story of a hungry sandpiper hatchling who ventures from her nest for the first time to dig for food by the shoreline. The only problem is, the food is buried beneath the sand where scary waves roll up onto the shore.

'Finding Dory' Gets Brand New Pics Ahead of Premiere This Month

Hank takes Dory for a tour around the aquarium in one of four brand-new images from Finding Dory have been released!

Finding Dory welcomes back to the big screen everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), who’s living happily in the reef with Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and Marlin (Albert Brooks). When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium.

In an effort to find her mom (Diane Keaton) and dad (Eugene Levy), Dory enlists the help of three of the MLI’s most intriguing residents: Hank (Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus who frequently gives employees the slip; Bailey (Ty Burrell), a beluga whale who is convinced his echolocation skills are on the fritz; and Destiny (Kaitlin Olson), a nearsighted whale shark. Deftly navigating the complex innerworkings of the MLI, Dory and her friends discover the magic within their flaws, friendships and family.

'Finding Dory' Shares Brand New Trailer - Watch It Now!

Disney/Pixar’s upcoming flick Finding Dory just posted a brand new trailer filled with super cute footage from the film.

The new trailer starts with an older fish couple swimming when they hear the voice of a young Dory – could they be her parents?

The trailer then fast-forwards to Dory on the hunt for her family, asking all sorts of sea life for help. But before she can find them, she gets caught and brought to a Marine Life Institute, where she has to figure out how to escape.

Finding Dory is set to hit theaters on June 17.

Sia Sings 'Finding Dory' Theme Song 'Unforgettable'  - Watch!

Sia has been announced as the end credits song performer for Disney Pixar’s upcoming movie Finding Dory, hitting theaters on June 17.

The “Chandelier” singer will be closing out the Ellen DeGeneres led flick with her rendition of the song “Unforgettable.”

“Dory’s story makes me teary,” Sia said. “When Ellen asked me, I couldn’t refuse!”

The song was originally written in 1951 and earned a Grammy when Natalie Cole recorded it as a duet tribute to her late father Nat King Cole in 1992.

Sia performed her rendition for the first time on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (May 20). Watch below!
