'Flash' & 'Arrow' Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg Has Been Fired Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Flash and Arrow‘s EP Andrew Kreisberg has officially been fired after sexual harassment allegations mounted against him in the past few weeks.

He served as an executive producer on The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

“After a thorough investigation, Warner Bros. Television Group has terminated Andrew Kreisberg’s employment, effective immediately,” the studio shared in a statement (via Variety).

“Greg Berlanti will assume additional responsibilities on both The Flash, where he will work closely with executive producer/co-showrunner Todd Helbing, and Supergirl, where he will work closely with executive producers/co-showrunners Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions.”

Berlanti Productions also issued a statement afterwards: “Warner Bros. Television Group recently concluded its investigation into the allegations against Andrew Kreisberg. We encouraged and supported this investigation, we believe and support the individuals who came forward, and we agree with the studio’s decision. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of all our colleagues – coworkers, crew and staff alike.”

Melissa Benoist, Stephen Amell and more issued statements just after the first allegations were reported.

Iris West is Going To Have A Major Role In 'Flash/Supergirl' Musical Crossover

Iris West is Going To Have A Major Role In 'Flash/Supergirl' Musical Crossover

Over the past few crossovers with other DC shows, The Flash‘s Iris West hasn’t been a major player — until now.

According to EP Aaron Helbing, Iris, played by Candice Patton, will have a much bigger part in the upcoming musical crossover between The Flash and Supergirl.

“She plays a pretty key role in the musical episode,” he shared in a new interview with TVLine. “The story really centers around Iris. Aside from Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara (Melissa Benoist), Iris plays a huge role in the musical.”

Excuse the pun, but, this is music to our ears!

Here's What's Happening In 'The Flash' & 'Supergirl's Musical Crossover

The Flash and Supergirl are ready for their musical crossover to happen — just like all the fans.

The CW just released the official summaries for the crossover episodes, which air on Monday, March 20th, and Tuesday, March 21st. Here they are:

In Supergirl‘s “Star Crossed”: A new villain (Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) on high alert.

Meanwhile, Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl.

In The Flash‘s “Duet”: “Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl who was whammied by the Music Meister. Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her.

However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.”

The crossover event features a ton of new songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who know from just winning an Oscar for La La Land‘s “City of Stars”.

Grant will sing their new original song, “Runnin’ Home to You.
